BUILDING A REPLICA

So you want to build a Mad Max Interceptor or Pursuit Special, well you've come to the right place, for this page is the most up to date and comprehensive list in world. It contains a complete list of everything you will need to build a exact replica of a either a Interceptor or Pursuit Special, pictures and information on who and where to obtain the parts. As i am building a Pursuit Special i will include information on how to go about something, e.g. modify the standard Advanced Spoiler and Creative Cars version of the Monza nose to look as close as possible to the one seen in Mad Max 1. These sections  will be added as i do them.
NOTE: Some of this information is not confirmed by the original builders, instead it is an estimated guess from what evidence is available. It also should be noted that a few of the parts listed are hard to find or becoming rare. A few of the parts have come back into production. If you are having trouble finding a part check out Rare Spares.
Also a good place to look at prices of falcons, where to obtain spares ect. is the "Trading Post". The Trading Post is a weekly paper in Australia which advertises everything from toilets to the rarest of car parts. Most of the adds are private, but there is also company adds as well. Unfortunately there is no pictures with the adds. All my vehicles so far have been bought privately from adds in this paper. If you do not live in Australia or cant buy the paper try "Trading Post Online", it is the same as the weekly paper except it's online.

IMPORTANT

Some of the information on these pages is similar to that on Peter Bartons Mad Max FAQ, this is because the information could not be altered or added to in anyway. I am not trying to compete with anyone or out perform them, what i am trying to do is assist in the construction of MFP vehicles and apologies to anyone if they are offended by me displaying some info which has not been altered in anyway. I like to think of these pages is sort of part two or just a add on. I have tried to change and improve the information as much as possible so as not to inter fear with copyright's and so on.
If you have a problem with any of the information on this page or have a picture or something to contribute please e-mail me.

I would like to thank Peter Barton's Mad Max FAQ, Steve Pilant, Gordon Hayes, George Kritty and Grant Hogeson. If i have left out your name please contact me.
