Forward: Well after picking up their first win in the WWFX against the Dudlies....The Hardy Boyz now look ahead to next weeks event, RAW!!!! And so far, things look to be in their favor, as they are set to take on Brock Lesnar in a handicap match! I mean, Lesnar versus both members of Team Xtreme...It should be a Cake Walk, right?
Scene: The WWFX Cameras come alive, with the sound of a roaring Crowd inside a WWFX Arena! Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler are sitting at the announce table talking, the Cameras zoom in on them, as their mics are turned on for the viewers at home to hear them...!
Jim "BBQ" Ross: Well folks, welcome to another action packed WWFX Event! It seems that we are drawing nearer and nearer to the WWFX's next Pay-Per-View, and the Elimination Chamber!
Jerry "The Burger King" Lawler: That's right JR! And I can't wait! What a match that's going to be!
Jim "BBQ" Ross: Ohhhhh, it sure will be King. But lets change subjects for a second. Now, last week before Retribution, we witnessed the Hardy Boyz almost completely explode on each other! I mean, the two of them really got their thoughts about one another out in the open.....and well, it didn't look like the Hardyz would be around very much longer......Here folks, take a look for yourselves.
The Cameras fade out into a recap of what took place at a House Show a couple of days before the last Retribution..... The Footage shows Matt and Jeff yelling at each other, and it even shows when a punch is almost thrown....... Then it shows the two Hardy Boyz putting their differences aside.....and "Getting Their Shit Together" sort of speak! The the recap goes completely black, and the words: "Shit Back Together", flashes across the screen! Then it shows the Hardy Boyz picking up their victory over the Dudley Boyz last week! The footage ends by showing Matt and Jeff celebrating their victory in the ring.....then the Cameras return to The King and JR...!
Jim "BBQ" Ross: And well.....there you have it ladies and gentlemen! The Hardyz finally got their shemee (JR stops himself, then starts to speak again) Excuse me, the Hardyz finally got their act together.
Jerry "The Burger King" Lawler: (King begins to laugh) Oh come on JR, why didn't you say what you were about to say?
Jim "BBQ" Ross: (JR plays it cool) I don't know what your talking about King????
Jerry "The Burger King" Lawler: Well anyway......the point is, the Hardy Boyz have come to their senses, they've gotten their first WWFX win, and they look better then ever. And what's more, they've been given a Main Event match against Brock Lesnar on Raw this week! Main Event JR! I guess the Hardyz really impressed somebody the other day with their preformance!
Jim "BBQ" Ross: Yeah, it looks that way King. I gue....(JR is cut off)
JR starts to speak again, but both his and King's mics are cut off from the t.v. viewers, and the cameras leave their announce table....as the Cameras begin to focus on the Titan-Tron, where Matt and Jeff Hardy are seen arriving! The fans Cheer as they are seen walking into the Arena from the Parking Lot.....they are heard talking as they walk...!
Jeff Hardy: Man, it feels good to finally have a win under my belt! Doesn't it feel good Matt?
Matt Hardy: It sure does! But remember.....we can't get too cocky Jeff.....I mean, sure, we have one victory.....but most of the other guys around here have more victories then they can count. We still have a lot of work to do man.
Jeff Hardy: Yeah.....but atleast most of the pressures off.
Matt Hardy: True.....but in a weird way, the pressure of not having a win is what drove us to get a win last week....
Jeff Hardy: (starts to laugh) Whoa....your starting to confuse me. Now I don't know if I should feel good about our win, or worried about getting our next one. (laughs)
Matt Hardy: Sorry....(laughs)....So, do you know who our opponent for Raw is yet?
Jeff Hardy: No.
Matt Hardy: NO?! I thought you said Bischoff talked to you after our match the other day?
Jeff Hardy: Yeah, he did. But all he told me was that we were being given the Main Event Slot. That's all.
Matt Hardy: Hmmmmmm. (Matt notices a backstage worker walking past him) HEY! Come here for a second.....Have you been told the list of matches for Raw this week?
WWFX Worker "Jim": Yeah. Why?
Matt Hardy: Could you tell us what tag team we'll be facing in the Main Event?
WWFX Worker "Jim": Tag Team? Haven't you two heard yet?! You guys have a handicap match on Raw.
Jeff Hardy: (Jeff gets a worried look on his face) Wait, are we the handicap ones???
WWFX Worker "Jim": No! (laughs) Brock Lesnar will be the handicaped one!
Jeff Hardy: Brock Lesnar? That's who we're facing?
WWFX Worker "Jim": Yep!
Matt Hardy: Ok thanks....now you can get out of here. (worker walks off) Brock Lesnar, (thinks for a second), this could be great for us!
Jeff Hardy: Great?! That guy's a Manster!
Matt Hardy: (Matt looks disappointed that his brother would say something like that) My God bro! Haven't I taught you anything?
Jeff Hardy: Ummmmmm?
Matt Hardy: Look, the first Rule of Mattitude, is to never look at the downside of things....always look at the upside. In this situation....the upside is a very big one. I mean, it's two on one. So we have the advantage. And on top of that, if we beat Brock Lesnar, we'll really be recognized as a big player around here. We'll not only earn our peers respect, but the respect of our bosses. Which can only lead to Title Shots!
Jeff Hardy: OH Okay! I see what your saying! So what do you think our game plan should be?
Matt Hardy: Well, our game plan should be a simple one. Since im the stronger one, I think I should spend the most time in the ring, that way I can wear Brock down, and I'll be able to absorb the most punishment. And I think you should only get involved to break up the pins and to help keep me fresh every know and then.
Jeff Hardy: Yeah. But your talking about if it's a two on one Tag match. What if it's a two on one tornado match?
Matt Hardy: Well if it's a tornado two on one, then all we have to do is destroy Brock. Which shouldn't be that hard for two World Class atheltes like ourselves!
Jeff Hardy: Definately!
Matt Hardy: Alright then......(Just then, as Matt and Jeff are just about to enter the lockerroom, Coach shows up!)
Johnathan "The Best T.V. Announcer PERIOD" Coach: Excuse me fellas, but could I get a quick word with you two? I just want to know what you think about your opponent Brock Lesnar?
Matt Hardy: Well Coach, I'll get right to the point. Is Brock Lesnar a Monster? A Manster if you will? Yes he is! Is he ten times stronger then Jeff and I......Yes he is! Is he a better wrestler on the mat then Jeff and I? Yes he probably is! Will he win his match on Raw this week?.....NO HE WON'T! (fans Cheer) You see Coach, Brock Lesnar may be almost not human, he may be a Manster, he may be a speriour athelete....he may be. But what he is not....is a Hardy, what he is not, is an Xtremest!....What he is not, is a great tag team. And once you stand back and let all of those facts sink in, you realize one thing.....and that one thing, is that come Raw, the Hardy Boyz are going to defeat Brock Lesnar! (fans Cheer) Now, don't get Jeff and I wrong, we have alot of respect for Lesnar, as far as him being an athelete, but when it comes time for us to get in the ring together.....all of that respect doesn't mean a thing. The only thing that matters is winning, and winning, is exactly what Jeff and I will do. You see, last week Jeff and I got our first victory, and this week, Jeff and I will pick up our second! (fans Cheer) You see, Jeff and I are finally on the right track, and we don't plan on getting off that track until we come in contact with some much deserved tag team gold! And Lesnar is just anothet test for us as a tag team. I mean, if we can take down Lesnar, we can surely take down anyone else here in the WWFX. And that should send a message to everyone. And that message is that the Hardy Boyz are all business. And if anybody gets in our way, they better be prepared to fight....because along with flying through the air, fighting is what we do best! (fans errupt!)
Johnathan "The Best T.V. Announcer PERIOD" Coach: Well yeah sure.....but don't you think it's alittle unfair, it being a handicap match and all?
Matt Hardy: Unfair? Welcome to the real world Coach! EVERYTHING is unfair! And that's just something you, and Brock Lesnar are going to have to deal with!
Johnathan "The Best T.V. Announcer PERIOD" Coach: Good point. Well on another note....we are only about a week or two away from Unforgiven, and you two have still yet to be given a match. Are you two worried at all that you may be left off the event?
Jeff Hardy: No Coach. I mean, do you think the two guys who have been given a Main Event slot will be left off a Pay-Per-View Card? Get real!
Johnathan "The Best T.V. Announcer PERIOD" Coach: Well who do you think you'll be facing?
Matt Hardy: Well Coach, frankly, we don't know and we don't care....all we know is, whoever is put up against us better come prepared, because we sure will! Come on Jeff, this Interview is over!
Johnathan "The Best T.V. Announcer PERIOD" Coach: Wha...wait! (the Hardyz enter their lockerroom and shut the door) Well folks, there you have it, a determined Team Xtreme, but are they determined enought to defeat Brock Lesnar?!
And with that, the Cameras fade to Black....!
