Forward: Do You Believe? HBK did last week, and now he's the new WWE Undisputed Champion! Yep, you heard right! Shawn Michaels is the new WWE Undisputed Champion........HBK went the distance and more last Monday in the Battle Royal main event on Raw; he defeated Nash, Kane, RVD, Raven, John Cena, and The Undertaker to become the Champ. The only thing is, while becoming the new Champion, HBK has made a lot of enemies......one of them being the very feared, nWo! This week......Shawn Michaels is set to take on Hollywood Hulk Hogan and Scott Steiner in a tag team match, with his partner The Rock. Can The Rock and HBK co-exist long enough to beat their common enemy? Or will the poison that is the nWo leave Raw with a big victory under their belt? Tune in this Monday to find out!
Scene #1: The Ring! The Champion Speaks!
Purpose: To Hype Raw!
The scene comes to light.......and we see a jam packed arena, as the cameras pan around. After a few seconds of panning around the arena, the cameras cut from the crowd over to the announce table, where Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler are....
"Good Ol' JR" Jim Ross: Hello folks......and welcome to WWE programing! We're here at the sold out Greensboro Coliseum, for one of the WWE's first House Shows of the year. I'm Jim Ross, and like always, im accompanied by my announce partner......Jerry "The King" Lawler..... Jerry, why don't you recap what happened this past Monday on Raw for us?
"The Puppy Lover" Jerry Lawler: Well, I'd love to JR! (pauses for a second, then continues) This past Monday, we had one excicting night on Raw! We got to see the nWo out in force, we got to see The Hurricane become our first ever Intercontinental Champion, and......we crowned our very first WWE Undisputed Champion, in HBK!
"Good Ol' JR" Jim Ross: That's right King..... And if we can, lets get some footage from this past Monday up on the Titan-Tron.
The cameras direct their attention to the Tiatn-Tron.......where footage of this past Monday begins to play.
The footage shows Raw's Main Event....... Raven being eliminated, John Cena being eliminated, Taker being eliminated, RVD being eliminated, Kane being eliminated, and finally Kevin Nash being eliminated............as HBK wins the Title!
After the footage finishes.......the cameras cut back to The King and JR over at the announce table.
"Good Ol' JR" Jim Ross: Well folks, as you just saw......a spectacular Main Event on Raw last week......
"The Puppy Lover" Jerry Lawler: And one hell of a hard fought victory for HBK.
"Good Ol' JR" Jim Ross: Indeed King. But as good as last week's Raw Main Event was......this week's looks to be even better, with the new Undisputed Champion, Shawn Michaels, teaming up with The Rock to take on the nWo's Hulk Hogan and Scott Steiner!
"The Puppy Lover" Jerry Lawler: That's right JR........that match has slobber knocker written ALL over it!
"Good Ol' JR" Jim Ross: It sure does..... I just wonder which man in that match we're gonna hear from first?
Just then, "Sexy Boy" hits over the PA! And the crowd erupts, as the new WWE Undisputed Champion Shawn Michaels makes hiw way out onto the stage!
"The Puppy Lover" Jerry Lawler: Well JR, I think you just got the answer to your question..... Because here comes our new Champion, Shawn Michaels!
He dances a little ways down the ramp.......then he stops, places his newly won Undisputed Title on his shoulder, and does his famous HBK pose on the ramp as pyro shoots off behind him!!!!

After the pyro stops going off, HBK stops posing, and makes it the rest of the way down the ramp..... Once down the ramp, he climbs into the ring, grabs a mic, and begins to speak as his music cuts off.
"The Heart Break Kid" Shawn Michaels: Last week....... I said that there'd be a new sheriff in town..... Last week...... I said that I'd walk out of the Staples Center.....a Champion...... And last week..........I did exactly what I said I was going to do! (fans Cheer) Last Monday Night, on Raw, I gave it everything I had.........I was kicked, punched, chokeslamed, and even Jacknifed! But when it was all said and done, after I took everything my competition could throw at me......I walked away the victor! (fans Cheer again) But ya see, the other night.......was just the begining. Because I don't feel like settling for just being the first WWE Undisputed Champion....oh no! You see, I won't be happy.......until I rack up the most successful Title reign EVER! (fans give off a slight pop) See......anyone could walk into a ring on any given night and win the Undisputed Title like I did. But it takes a Real Champion to defend his Title......night in and night out. Which is exactly what im going to do! (fans cheer a little) You know, I've only been the Champion around here for a few days.......but im already hearing guys talking about taking my Title from me.... Well I got news for all of those guys out there who think they're just gonna walk into my ring and beat me 1, 2, 3 for my Title...........It ain't gonna be easy boys! (fans pop) So don't make it sound like it's going to be! I mean, I got to the arena tonight, and who did I see on the TV monitor running his mouth? I saw Edge. Yeah, that's right..... I saw Edge.........he was out here talking about how he's gonna become the Undisputed Champion, how it's his destiny or some crap like that.... Well Edge, sorry bucko! You becoming the WWE Undisputed Champion......(makes an arrogant face, and talks sarcasticly)......ain't gonna happen! (fans Cheer a little) You come out here and talk about destiny? Boy, you don't know a damn thing about destiny! I've been bustin' my ass off in this ring for over 15 years......I know a little something about destiny, and a destiny is something you don't have! (fans pop, a little louder then before) Now Edge, im not saying your not a good wrestler.... Hell, I'll be the first one to tell ya.....you have talent. But as far as you becoming the Undisputed Champion around here, and as far as you having any kind of destiny affiliated with MY Title are concerned........im sorry, but it just won't be working out the way you had planned. You see Edge, the thing you and everyone else in that lockerroom back there need to realize........is that this Title is right where it belongs.......and that this Title is right where it's going to stay! (HBK smirks & looks out into the crowd, as an "HBK" chant starts) The fact of the matter is.........i'm the Champion around here for one reason and one reason only. And that reason......is that i'm the best. Now, you can dispute that all you want......but any wrestling fan, any wrestling expert will tell ya that it's true. I am the best, which is why this belt.....(taps the Title, that's on his shoulder)......is draped across my shoulder tonight, and not any of the other men who took part in that battle royal last Monday. (fans Cheer) And speaking of last Monday..... During my match last week, a little faction that seems to think they run this joint, just happened to get involved.... (fans Boo, remembering the nWo's actions on Raw) Now this little faction, likes to call themselves the New World Order. (the fans Boo at the mention of the New World Order) But we all know that there's nothing in a name..........and we also know that the nWo are nothing but a bunch of cowards! (fans Cheer) You see, it doesn't take big, strong, talented guys to run down to the ring and jump somebody. It doesn't take big, strong, talented guys to spray paint letters on someone's back while they're unconscious. And it sure as hell doesn't take big, strong, talented guys to use sledgehammers on people! No! It takes a bunch of gutless, worthless, cowards to do things like that! And gutless, worthless, cowards...........are exactly what they nWo are! (fans cheer) They walk around backstage like they own the place.... But I don't see any of them with Gold strapped around their waste! (fans really pop!) And if I have anything to do with it, it's going to stay that way! You see, you guys talk about taking over this Company.........But as long as im around, that won't be happening! The fact of the matter is, this is the McMahon-Michaels Era. Not the era of the nWo. Wer'e not in the wcw, we're in the WWE. And here in the WWE, I run the show!

Which brings me to this Monday.... Raw, LIVE, in front of millions of fans..... Yours truely is in the Main Event again. But this time it's not for any Titles........this time it's about payback! (fans go nuts!) It's going to be the new WWE Undisputed Champion, Shawn Michaels.......teaming up with the most electrifying man in sports and entertainment today, The Rock! To take on Hollywood Hulk Hogan, and Scott Steiner.....of the nWo. (the fans Cheers for the Rock and HBK quickly turn into Boo's at the mention of Hogan and Steiner's name) Now Hogan, Steiner........I was once a part of the nWo myself for a short period of time. So I know how your kind operates. Your hoping to intimidate The Rock and I, with your silly little threats of a hostile take over, and with your black and white gang colors. But the fact of the matter is, I get intimidated by noone! I've beaten em' all in my illustrious career.... And the nWo will be no different then anything else I've destroyed. Now, im sure somebody is saying........(makes a funny face, and talks in a scared voice)....."but, but Shawn.......how are you going to destroy the nWo all by yourself?" (gets serious expression on his face, and starts speaking normally again) Well, first off.....I never said it'd be easy. And secondly.....I never said I'd do it in one night. But hell, look at my track record! I've demolished entire factions before! (gets a mixed reaction) What? You people don't believe me? Well fine, let me jog your memories a little bit...... 1997 Survivor Series, I put the final nail in the coffin, and kicked Bret Hart's sorry ass right out of the company. After Bret, I took care of the British Bull Dog, and that stupid fool Jim "The Anval" Knight Hart.... Then, after I took care of those three......and sent them running for the gates of wcw, I took care of the left overs. So when I tell you I've demolished entire factions before......you can take that for the truth. Because I have. I destroyed the Hart Foundation back when this place was still called the W-W-F! And now, if I need to.....I'll destroy the nWo. It's plain and simple, if there's a problem, I take care of it. And nWo, your a problem, that WILL be taken care of. (fans pop!) Now like I said, you don't intimidate me, and im pretty sure you don't intimidate The Rock either.... The fact is nWo, you reap what you sew. And this Monday, The Rock and I will repay our debts in full. So put the spray paint on hold, forget your takeover, because this Monday......you have bigger problems..... This Monday, you have The Rock, and the Undisputed Champion to deal with!
And with that, HBK drops the mic, and heads back to the back, as his music hits over the PA.... Back at the announce table, Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler are heard talking.
"Good Ol' JR" Jim Ross: Well, those were some very bold statements from our new Undisputed Champion. Do you think he has what it takes to back them up King?
"The Puppy Lover" Jerry Lawler: Of course he does JR. Like I've said before, I've known HBK for a long time, and that man is capable of anything! I've seen him step into Hell with The Undertaker, and survive. I've seen him stand toe to toe with the Hitman for over an hour and come out on top. If HBK says he's gonna do something, most of the time I believe him..... Not that he isn't in store for a very bumpy ride if he decides to tangle with the nWo.....
"Good Ol' JR" Jim Ross: Well, you have a point King. HBK has done some amazing things over his career. But taking down the nWo by himself? I just don't know. I can see him beating the nWo time after time in the ring..... But dismantling it? I just don't know about that. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
"The Puppy Lover" Jerry Lawler: I guess so....

The scene comes to light, and Stephane is seen talking with someone on her cell phone.

Just then, HBK walks in.........Stephane hangs up her cell phone.
"The Heart Break Kid" Shawn Michaels: Hey. Who were you talking to?
"The Billion Dollar Princess, W/ The Trillion Dollar Body" Stephane McMahon: Oh nobody really..... I was just trying to get you a segement on a few shows, that's all.
"The Heart Break Kid" Shawn Michaels: Shows? What shows?
"The Billion Dollar Princess, W/ The Trillion Dollar Body" Stephane McMahon: Oh you know..... Confidential, Byte This, Experience.......stuff like that.
"The Heart Break Kid" Shawn Michaels: Oh okay...... Any success?
"The Billion Dollar Princess, W/ The Trillion Dollar Body" Stephane McMahon: Some..... The deal with Confidential is already sealed. Experience looks promising. Byte This is still in question though....
"The Heart Break Kid" Shawn Michaels: Well, if you already have Confidential and Experience lined up, there's no need to worry about a spot on Byte This.
"The Billion Dollar Princess, W/ The Trillion Dollar Body" Stephane McMahon: Oh okay.... So you don't want me to try and get you a segement on Byte This then?
"The Heart Break Kid" Shawn Michaels: No, not right now.
"The Billion Dollar Princess, W/ The Trillion Dollar Body" Stephane McMahon: Okay. (stands up and walks towards HBK) So how'd it go in the ring?
"The Heart Break Kid" Shawn Michaels: It went well. The fans seemed to be firmly behind their new Champion...........And I think I really helped hype this Monday's tag match against the nWo.
"The Billion Dollar Princess, W/ The Trillion Dollar Body" Stephane McMahon: The nWo..... (shakes her head in disgust) I can't stand that bunch of low lifes. I mean, did you hear what Kevin Nash called me last week in an interview with JR? He called me a slut!
"The Heart Break Kid" Shawn Michaels: I know, I know..... (rubs Stephane's arms and shoulders in a comforting fashion) But we all know that's not ture..... Don't let him get to ya.
"The Billion Dollar Princess, W/ The Trillion Dollar Body" Stephane McMahon: Yeah I know.... But what are you going to do this Monday? What if this tag match your in, is just a ploy to get you and The Rock out in the open?
"The Heart Break Kid" Shawn Michaels: Hey, The Rock and I know what we're doing. Besides, I don't think the tag match is a ploy.... The nWo doesn't have the guts to take on two guys at the same time.........they'd much rather go after us when we're alone.
"The Billion Dollar Princess, W/ The Trillion Dollar Body" Stephane McMahon: Yeah, your probably right.... (pauses, then gets an awful idea in her head) Um, do you want me at ringside during the match? I mean, what if they try to put their hands on me while your occupied in the ring?
"The Heart Break Kid" Shawn Michaels: Hmmmm..... I never thought about that. (sighs as he thinks for a moment) It probably won't be safe for you out there..... If you would rather stay in the lockerroom during my match, I understand.
"The Billion Dollar Princess, W/ The Trillion Dollar Body" Stephane McMahon: Okay, I'll stay backstage.... (Stephane gets a sudden burst of confidence) No! You know what? On second thought......i'm going out there to that ring with you come Monday Night! Those barbarians don't scare me. I'm Stephane McMahon! (smiles) I fear noone, not even the nWo. And come Monday, I'll be standing right there in your corner cheering you on Shawn.... You can count on it!
"The Heart Break Kid" Shawn Michaels: Good. It'll be nice to know your there.
There's a brief pause in the conversation..... But after a few seconds, Stephane notices the Gold shining on HBK's shoulder, and starts to talk again.
"The Billion Dollar Princess, W/ The Trillion Dollar Body" Stephane McMahon: I still can't believe it. Last Monday you really did it, we really did it. You've got the Title Shawn. We made it to the top!
"The Heart Break Kid" Shawn Michaels: We sure did. (laughs a little) Now we just have to fight to stay there....
"The Billion Dollar Princess, W/ The Trillion Dollar Body" Stephane McMahon: Yep, it won't be easy.........but for someone with your talent, it shouldn't be to difficult. (thinks for a second, then continues) So who do you think you'll have to defend your Title against first?
"The Heart Break Kid" Shawn Michaels: Don't know, don't care.... The bottom line, no matter who I have defend my Title against first, they're gonna end up just like the other guys in that Battle Royal from last Monday.........beaten, by the one, the only.......Heart Break Kid, Shawn Michaels!
Stephane and HBK laugh confidently, as the scene fades to black...!
