Is it
just me, or is everyone wondering why the heck we have summers?!
I'm a college senior now, and personally, I hate the fact
that I have to put down my entire life, (and by that I mean
everything:
my social life, my job, my academic life, my dating/romantic
life, and all current events), and go to some place I don't
want to be just so that I can work my butt off for
3 months.
Now granted,
those who are financially oppressed and are struggling through
college might appreciate the time to put things on hold and
try to get their heads above water for a change. But who cares
when you're racking up $30,000 debt anyway?!
What's
worse is that I am 21, (turning 22 in August, in fact), and
I am forced to live under my parents roof again. Do you know
what that does to someone of my high-standing godhood??? I
am reduced to being a highschooler with parents that whine
about not putting the dishes away and my lack of respect for
an 11:00 curfew! Forget that!
I'm bored
out of my mind. In fact, I'm so incredibly bored that I put
this whole frikken' website together just to cope with it!
So what's
the conclusion? I'll pick Harding's
crap over this anyday! (And trust me, those of you who are
familiar with the University know just how bad that
is!)
