Freinds Pix | Marine Corps Life

Well, here it is......

Well, things dont always turn out as you would think they would. Through an interesting course of events, I have went from a small town in Southern California, to the AFP, Armed Forces Pacific, the small island of Okinawa. Well, one thing I know, God has taken me places that I had no clue that I would end up. Being 15 years old and wanting to be a vetrinarian, then finding myself 4 years later, on the other side of the world. Go figure.

How did I end up in Japan you ask....

Life has so many twists and turns. About my Senior year, I was still wary about my decision on what I would be doing. Well, a couple months before I graduated, an old friend that had graduated when I started out a Freshman, came by the school. He was all dressed up in his Dress Charlie's, not like I knew what they were at the time, and started on talking about his adventures in the United States Marine Corps. Well, after hearing him, I was ready to sign on the dotted line. Well, to put it nicely, my parents weren't as enthusiastic as I was. But, knowing there wasn't much they could do to stop me, they signed for me, and on September 5, 2000, I was standing on those dreaded yellow footprints...... (cont. on Marine Corps Life)
