THE FIRST UPDATE
Hello and welcome to the NEW and fantastic "Funny Website". I made this website to tell funny stories. However, like the wonderful "www.somethingawful.com", I will not be the only updating this wonderful website. Anyone of my friends who want to become a editor of the website and knows basic HTML can post something as long as me and the co-creator (Dan Lombardy) find the topic humorous and crafty.
The first topic I would like to discuss is "Websites of TODAY". Especially the funny ones. A few I personally find to be real "knee-hitters" are www.somethingawful.com,www.homestarrunner.com and the lovely www.bobanddavid.com and thats only a few! However, with the good websites come the bad. Before I hit you with the next subject, let me tell you a little about myself..I go to school at AUBURN CAREER CENTER, which is a blast. Basically, I learn how to dick around on computer programs and play Quake 2.
So, one day the class was assigned a special task! The task was too help a nun sell hippy clothes (clothes that are all natural..whatever that means) with the help of the internet! Needless to say, me and my classmates were up too the challenge!
So the class split up into teams and made THREE wonderful websites for the nun, thinking we were doing her a favor...however..none of us could see what going to happen next.
SHE BROUGHT IN 2 OTHER PEOPLE TOO TELL HER IF OUR WEBSITES SUCKED OR NOT. They did not like our websites and gave us all the big thumbs down. Well, actually they basically said,"we dont like most of your websites, but we are going to take what we do like." This too me is comparable to giving someone a quilt that you worked really hard on, then the reciever taking it and ripping it apart, but taking certain parts so they can make the quilt that they are making more cool.
So needless too say, we were all pretty pissed about how ungreatful they were. BUT A FEW WEEKS LATER..2 of the websites we made took first place awards in some ceremony.Our teacher came into the classroom with news that the nun's site was up and running with the help of the two jerks. We all took a gander and it and saw one of the most henious things in my life. Which brings me back to modern websites. With the good comes the bad...and ladies and gentlemen..this..is bad.
Okay, so the story wasn't THAT funny and I know some of you are mad that you wasted your time reading that. But this website is also a place too vent frusteration..so if any of you people would like too send me a article that you would like too see get posted..send it too Rickdelvecchio@hotmail.com and you might see it up the next day. Thanks for coming.
