We drove into Alaska almost 5 years ago. The questions we get asked most often from our friends and family in the lower 48 are "How do you like it up there?" and "Does it get cold?" Here are the answers...we absolutely LOVE it up here... so much that we are looking to retire and stay right here. There is not another place on the earth that is anywhere like living in Fairbanks, Alaska. God has tremendously blessed us with friends, neighbors, and Brothers & Sisters in Christ that make this place thousands of miles away from everything we knew our home. "Does it get cold?" ---NAAA--we've only seen 58 degrees---below ZERO!! In all fairness, though; we've also seen 90 degrees above zero!
