Hello and welcome to my page about my hobby of model building. Here you will find a few of my favorite models that I have built over the years. I will also tell you about a few tips and techniques that I've developed that I think can be very helpful. There is also a section which features the tools that you absolutely must have in order to build a model, and the tools that will just make the job much easier and produce better results.
But first here is a little about me. My name is Philip Haberle and I am 17 years old. I live in a small town in central Texas called Seguin. I've been building models for as long as I can remember which was probably about when I was 9 years old. I also enjoy playin computer game, especially racing and RPGs. My favorites are Sports Car GT and Return to Castle Wolfenstein. Click here and you can see some screenshots of Sports Car GT. It might take a little while to download if you have slower connections. Enough about me, this page is about building models. I have finished building my SU-35 Super Flanker and a Suzuki RGV-Gamma motorcycle, which are now on this page. I am very pleased with them. I have also started on a Bell Huey Gunship in the 1:24 scale. I am about half way through it ,and when it is completed it will too be on this site.
Models are categorized by their scale. For example, most cars are 1:24 scale which means that the model car is 1/24 the size of the actual car. The smaller the scale doesn't mean that the model itself is small but that the model is much smaller than the real thing. I prefer to build aircraft in the 1:48 scale because it is the perfect size to show a lot of detail without being too large.
