Far from Heaven was a good movie.

A friend of mine took me to go watch it at the Angelika theater in Dallas. 

It was very sad though.  Very sad.  It showed how racism and hatred and towards homosexuality destroyed the lives of many people.  It shows what can happen when you try to live a lie and live a straight life while trying to ignore homosexual desires. It shows how segregated we were in the 50's and how we have come such a long ways. (THANK GOD).  It also shows how proper people were back then.  I don't think there were many curse words in that movie at all...well maybe a few.  Most recent movies you can loose count quickly. 

The ending left me with a feeling of so much un necessary pain and heartache people go through because of intolerance or racism.
