Yes, I am still alive. I just haven't had much to say. I think when the summer wraps up in the coming weeks, I'll post a longer message....not looking to draw attention to any particular events as of late, so I'd rather let them go away a bit before I post here about them. Hopefully in 2 weeks or so you'll see something with a little more context. Until then....bye!

March 28, 2005

I realize my previous message has caused some concern with some people as to what's going on. Just a lot of crap on that day and I decided to vent my frustration on here. Probably not the brightest idea. I did feel better the next day and this weekend has really help to make me feel better as well. An uncertain future still lies ahead for me, but fun would life be without uncertainty?

Anyone collecting towels? I'm ready to throw mine in... I look forward and I see nothing. I look backward and I see everything I did wrong and the poor decisions I made and the problems I caused. I look at today and I wonder how it can possibly get better...usually that's thought you have when things are good, not bad... Maybe I'll wake up tomorrow and forget about it all...maybe...

March 17, 2005

Life's been frustrating lately. Every time I seem to get ahead, something else knocks me down. It would be nice to be able to feel "ahead" for more than a week... And there's so much going on right now...just makes you want to run away.

So more and more I wish I had a LiveJournal. I hate posting on here. It's not easy or conveinent. Plus, if I had an LJ, I could just post all the time and even post private things just to vent. A while back I had thought about having a paper journal so I could express things to something rather than keeping it all inside. Never did it...maybe I could use an LJ for that. But I guess the question is...would it really be all that private? Probably not.

I went to a Borough Council meeting about a week ago to try to see what we can do about this "$50 per entertainment device per year" tax they have in Boyertown. Have you ever jammed a fork into your eyeball? Try it...that might come close to how annoying this whole thing is. The Boyertown Times was there taking information and while my father and I spoke, the woman never stopped writing. The Reading Eagle was there too, but we didn't see an article from them yet. The Times printed one today...here's an electronic copy of it.

In other news...(prepare for boring stuff). Pretty much same old, same old. Rattle is still gone in the car and I paid the bill....yay. Haven't been playing as much World of Warcraft lately because I'm getting a little bored with doing nothing most of the time. I am finding the "end game content" to be fun however. Only problem is that it requires a lot of time and dedication that I don't always have. I've nearly exceeded 30 days of play time in the game... (that's 720 hours, in case you wondered). There's another DC league starting up shortly, but I haven't decided if I want to play in it yet or not. I can't stand when the young kids can't listen and we lose because of it, but I guess for the most part, we're just there to have fun. I just hate losing...especially for stupid reasons.

I think that's all there is for now. Don't want to give you too much excitement in one day... Until next time...

February 22, 2005

So at least it hasn't been like forever since the last time I updated. I just don't have much to tell the world I guess... So I guess I'll just list some things I've done lately...

Got my car fixed. Turned out one of the mounts for my suspesion was busted and making the rear rattle. The rattle is gone, YAY! I also fixed the arm rest so it actually stays closed all the time now. Now to just figure out how to fix my headlights....

Went to visit Katie over Valentine's Weekend. We had a really good time. Went and saw Hitch. Apparently that's a chick flick...silly me, I didn't realize that. Also had a nice dinner (I forget the name of the place) that was pretty cheap because she had $30 in gift cards. We also made dinner in the hotel room. That was challenging, since we only had a microwave, but it was still a lot of fun. The food was actually pretty good too!

I hit maximum level in World of Warcraft. Now it's time to just advance my character and such before they remove the level cap...who knows when that's going to be. Last time I checked, I've had just about 25 days of playtime (25 x 24 hours) since the game came out at the end of November.

Business has been good at the store this month. January was a little slow, but manageable. This month is working out quite well though. I've even fixed a couple PC's this month for customers, so that's some extra $$ in my pocket. Yay!

Other than that, it's pretty much SSDD. I've been going through ups and downs as far as working goes. Just some days I want to sleep in and not have to go...but I don't have much choice.

So that's life lately. Not much else to talk about that I can think of right now. Enjoy the update. Maybe with luck, the next one won't be so far away.

December 7, 2004

I just want to make two corrections about my last news posting. The stuff I said was based on the latest information I was given, but was apparently not as up to date as I thought.

First, Katie's ex-boyfriend is going back to college next semester. I was told he quit going to school, which is what I said, he dropped out. I never said he wasn't going back nor did I say he was, cause I didn't know. I do, however, know now that he will be returning to school next year and good luck to him, honestly.

Second, Katie's ex-boyfriend's friend did not fail any college courses. Apparently at one time he was failing but is now passing all his courses.

Hopefully that will smooth any rough waters that may exist. I apologize for giving misleading information, but it was based on the most recent information I had. Also, I did not mean to insult anyone with this information, it was simply a way to explain why the things that were said had no affect on me. Again, sorry if I offended those who I had poor information about. Please take this as sincere, because it is.

December 5, 2004

Apparently all I have to do is complain on here about the store and business picks up. Hehe. We did double the business in the second half of the month that we did in the first half. Not much to complain about there!! I even got to take a paycheck finally! That sure was nice.

Thanksgiving was a good time. It was nice to have a day off that wasn't a Sunday, even though I really didn't sleep in and I spent a bunch of time in the store playing games...hehe. I picked up Katie from the train station and spent some time with her family for the holiday. We went and saw the Spongebob Movie that night.

Had a little childish issue with some of Katie's friends though over the Thanksgiving break. Apparently her ex-boyfriend talked to one of his friends about the situation and this friend found it necessary to harass Katie about it. She was upset by what was said but frankly, I could care less. I don't know the exact phrase anymore, but it was something along the lines of me being a "fat waste of space whose business will close in under a year." Did I mention this came from a guy who I've been told has failed a couple freshman college courses? And her ex-boyfriend who has dropped out of college? Yeah, not offended. Fat? Wow, really observant. I've been overweight my whole life, I deal with it. Why don't you call me a nerd or a dork at the same time? And as for my business. I'm afraid not. My parents have just as much of an interest in it as I do, so they will do everything they can to help. Apparently these people have been going around telling people that I'm closing in two months. HA! Guess they need to spread negative rumors so they can feel better about themselves. I simply walk into my bedroom and see my diploma and my dean's award on the wall and I can feel better about who I am. I don't have to do things to make myself feel better, it comes naturally! :)

</rant>

World of Warcraft has been pretty much running my life lately. I'm trying to take a step back now since it's been an obsession for nearly 2 weeks now and I have almost 3 DAYS of play time on it. Yeah, a little obsessed. The good news is that there's about 5 other people that come in the store that are obsessed as well.

I think that's all for now. If I don't update before then, have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Until next time...

November 16, 2004

I guess it's a good time to put something new here. I can't believe it's been so long since that last one, but I guess it has.

Nothing really to talk about. I've been out to visit Katie again since the last post. I've been going pretty much the first weekend or so of each month. It's nice to get out there to see her. It gives us some real good time together since there's no one really around to bug us or anyone for us to feel responsible towards (like parents), so it really make for a good weekend. It's also a nice chance for me to get away from the store....but do I ever truly get away? Probably not...

Store's been "meh" so far this month. October was pretty good, much better than Sept., and I was thinking November would be even better, but it's not looking that way. The store has just been generally slower than it was before the summer. Maybe everyone's burned out from playing? I don't know. I lost a lot of my best customers when the summer was over due to things like College or the Marines and there really hasn't been any stand-out replacements for them. Even some of my regulars from last school year haven't shown up. In fact, I put a coupon in the school paper and haven't seen a single one.... They used to fly in before. The whole performance of the store has been getting me down lately too, and it really sucks. I don't know what to do anymore. I guess I need to really start working on getting some other form of revenue or something for the business or else it's not going to hold up much longer....which is a really really scary thought.... Blah.... So confused and lost on what to do. Probably shouldn't even be writing this here, but I don't have anywhere else to vent. Hopefully the store will start to pick up soon or I'm gonna be in trouble. Maybe the Thanksgiving break will lead to tons of business and then the Christmas rush will encourage parents to leave their kids here while they go shopping.... Time will tell I guess... Trying to keep my chin up, it's just hard when I look at the financial situation....

So that's life lately. Not too exciting. I probably missed something to mention here, but the mind is a little clouded with the store issues right now. Oh well, until next time....

October 21, 2004

I just wanted to correct something I said in my post yesterday to avoid offending anyone. When I said my birthday was uneventful, I was referring to it being just another birthday, nothing really special about turning 24. What I should have then said was that the people around me made that day probably more special then any birthday has been for me in a long time.

My parents came in the store and put balloons all over the place that were from them and Katie. Brian brought me the betta fish that Katie got me for my birthday (1 of 26 small gifts she got...1 for each letter of the alphabet). He also was sent out to buy 2 dozen donuts (24). Also, Tim showed up with a cake that he planned with Brian, Katie, and a little with my Mom. It had a photograph of me from an earlier birthday and said "20 years later, same stupid smile." Who has the word STUPID on their birthday cake? Sheesh. Then of course, the next day, as I said before, Katie showed up in my bedroom and that was my final surprise. So now that I've cleared that up, stop yelling at me! Hehe.

One last thing to mention, when my parents came in and left the balloons...they set the alarm...and forgot to lock the front door. Some customers got here before I did and set the alarm off. I was greeted by a police officer and a call from my security company when I got to the door. Way to go. By the way, I also want to say that Boyertown police are actually really nice guys. I've never had a problem with them.

Ok, stop feeling special, two updates in as many days.

October 20, 2004

So blah, it's been ages since my last update. A lot has happened since then, I've just been too busy to write anything.

I turned 24, that was uneventful and somewhat depressing. 24, still living at home, can't afford my own place, can hardly afford my own life. I need to win the lottery or something. I guess the first step to that though is playing it...yeah, not wasting the money. Maybe I'll just win a million dollars from the Monopoly game at McDonald's. That's possible...

I've visited Katie several times out at college. She actually came home unexpectedly and surprised me for my birthday. I wanted to kill her and hug her at the same time. She came into my room at about 1:00 while I was still sleeping and surprised me. It was awesome. Anyways, I ended up taking her back that night. Brian was going to, but I did instead and I stayed over night and came home in the morning. It was some extra expense, but some extra time to spend with her. Otherwise, I've gone out and visited her twice at school plus picked her up in Rochester this past weekend and brought her home for her fall break. She went home yesterday on a train. Long story. Sad times.

Store was really slow in September but October is definitely looking up. I've almost passed September's sales and it's only the 20th. September was my worst month ever. Blah. That month has resulted in me not having a whole lot of money either cause I haven't been taking paychecks. Thank God for plastic...

Got my car painted finally. I decided not to put the mud flaps on and I returned them because they didn't fit right. The "chip guard" should protect the car though. My parents paid for some of that for my birthday, that was a good thing. There's more I want to do with my car (remote start and fog lights) but I just don't have the money. Maybe Christmas...

I think that's probably all (or at least enough) for now. Hopefully the next update won't be so far away.

August 25, 2004

Early Friday morning on August 20th, Brandom Mason and 3 others were in a pretty bad car accident. Brandon didn't survive the accident and is being laid to rest as I type this. I went to the viewing this morning and paid my respects. Brandon was my younger brother's age, 21. Knowing I was going to the funeral this morning, I did some "reflecting" last night on who Brandon was to me and I guess I realized he was more than I had originally thought.

Growing up, the Mason family lived maybe 5 houses down the street from my old house on Estate Rd. in Boyertown. Him and his older brother Corey were really the closest (as in "nearby") guy friends I had growing up. Corey was basically a year older than me, but in the same grade as my older brother (2 years ahead). As I said before, Brandon was my younger brother's age. However, even though there was the age difference, we did a lot together. I can remember playing football out on the Jr. High School field. I remember the occassional fights/wrestling matches we used to get in. I remember sledding with them down the big hill. I can remember that the Mason house was the first place I ever really played video games (original Nintendo....Atari just didn't cut it) and I guess it's that memory that means the most to me. It's my life now. Sure someone else could have introduced them to me and I probably would have been hooked no matter what, but they were the first and we did it ALL the time. It's too bad that such a young kid had to go like this. Rumor has it he was only in the car because he didn't want to risk driving home after having some drinks. Sad how responsibility got him killed. I didn't really realize how many lives he had touched until I saw the line to view him this morning. (typing was interrupted here as the procession went by the store. They took a trip through the high school and around both sports fields. Brandon was an excellent baseball and football player. He was even in a farm league of some sort for baseball.) At 9am, the viewing started and the line was easily 200+ people long. And that line only grew from 9am to 11am never dropping below 200 people even when I left at 11:30 to come ot the store. Rest in Peace Brandon, it is clear you will be missed by many.

Going on now. I have also uploaded pictures from my trip to the TI. You can check them out here or head over to the misc pictures section.

That's really all for now. School is starting again soon, so it's back to sleeping till 1pm for Pat....w00t!!

August 18, 2004

So it's been over a month since my last update. There just hasn't been a whole lot going on until real recently. I'm going to keep this breif though since most of what I'm going to talk about has pictures to go with it.

My dad got a second Jet Ski off Ebay shortly before we headed up to my grandparent's house at the Thousand Islands. They ran up to MA a couple days before and picked it up and brought it home so we could trailer the two Jet Skis together.

We headed up on Friday for a long weekend. I drove back Monday while my parents returned home on Tuesday. I have pictures to prepare to put up from the weekend but will do that at a later date.

That's all I really have to say for now. Hopefully I'll have an update soon that includes some pictures from the weekend, it's just a matter of me taking the time to do it and time is a little tight at the moment.

July 12, 2004

Hasn't been too long since last update, but I decided to add some pictures to the site. I took some photos while I was up visitng my grandparents that are now on the site and also some pictures of the other day when President Bush's motorcade came down the main street in Boyertown right in front of my store. Those pictures can be found in the Misc Pics portion of the site.

It looks like in mid-August we will be heading up to my grandparent's place again. My dad wants to play with his diving compressor and he's also getting our Jet Ski running. Therefore, I have been reading for the boating license course so that I can drive the Jet Ski when we are up there.

The store saw it's best month of business last month. Really exciting. I don't see it changing much either this month, so that's even better. I love the summer... :)

Not too much else going on. So until next time...

June 27, 2004

12:22PM on a Sunday and I have the pleasure of sitting at the store....alone...no kiddies...no anyone. Guess I shouldn't be complaining though since I only opened 22 minutes ago. Work has been running me down pretty hardcore lately. Let me just kinda give you an example...yesterday. I woke up, as usual, at 10:45 to come in to work. Sure I didn't get out of bed till nearly 11:30, but that's how I do it. Snooze till the VERY last possible minute. Stupid college habits... Anyways, then I come in and open the store 12 noon. Then I sit and do some work and sit and take care of kids and answer the phone and sit and eat and watch TV and blah and blah and blah until finally at 1am I'm able to turn off the open sign. Then what do I do? Oh, that's right, I sit and blah and blah while I watch my customers play PC games. Ok, so I played a little last night from like 2:00-3:30 but at 3:30 I looked down and was like, "Ok, time to go home and get some sleep." But I have this really bad habit of not wanting to kick people out. So I twiddle my thumbs for an hour and a half while a customer sits and plays. Finally, at 5am, I walk into the back room, see the sun is coming up and go out and inform that customer that it's about time for them to wrap it up. And what do I get in return? A violin being played for me. Talk about rude. Doing someone a favor and then they give you crap? Really makes me want to stay here and baby sit. So anyways, I go home at around 5:15, take a shower and lay in bed. Finally by 5:45 I get to go to sleep for 5 hours only to wake up at 10:45 again and do it all over again. And that is where I am now. It's getting pretty bad when I feel out of place anywhere but here at the store, isn't it? Cause that's how I feel. The only comforting thing I have at home is my queen sized bed. :) So ok, enough ranting about that. I know, I work for myself, I'm lucky. I get to play games all day, I'm lucky.

So much to say, so much I can't say. Awesome. You ever have that feeling where you just want to run around and tell the world about your news but you can't cause the world probably wouldn't want to hear it? Yup, that's where I be! (yes, I realize the grammatical error, I'm not retawded. And I realize the spelling error too, shhh!) Good game.

Oh! Something to write about! I just remembered, went to my grandparents house at the Thousand Islands to visit for my grandfather's 80th birthday. For the most part, the weekend went really well. Haven't seen most of that family in over 2 years, so it was nice to see them. I was surprised to see that for the most part, no one had changed! I'm amazed how my grandmother at 78 looks exactly like she did (in my mind) 15 years ago. The weekend was good. Things got a little emotional on the night he opened his gifts and cards, but that was mostly because he has Alzheimer's and really can't do much of anything for himself anymore. My grandmother had to read the cards to him and tell him who they were from. All in all, yeah...sad times. But hey, he's 80 and still seems to be in terrific health and I wouldn't be surprised to see him go at least another 10 years. I wish I could be like them when I'm that age (minus the Alzheimer's). Hopefully, as soon as I feel like putting in the time, I'll get some pictures up from the weekend. Don't hold your breath. Pat's motivation level is like nill right now. hehe.

So store's been super busy. A slow day today might not be all that bad, but I'm just really used to the busy days. This month so far is shaping up to be one of our best months yet which is great because last month was just about our worst month since opening. Keep it coming summer, I can take it! Hehe.

Oh well, enough with the update. People were complaining (you know who you are ;-) ) so I had to be sure to do this and this seemed like a good time (since there's still no one here, 12:35). Have a great day, a great week, and a fantastic 4th of July (cause I probably won't be updating before then).

June 2, 2004

Wow, I didn't realize it's been so long since my last message on here. I guess time flies when you're having fun? It's been quite an interesting couple weeks since my last post, but the funny thing is that it's nothing I really want to talk about...hehe. Actually, it's not so much that as I really can't talk about it. Don't you just love that? Not only have I told you there's something, but now I'm not telling you it. Awesome. On top of not being able to, frankly, I don't even want to talk about it. Yay! So there ya go. Good times. All I will say is that a crystal ball would have been really helpful about 3 weeks ago.

Life's been pretty stressful lately. Been doing a lot of driving and thinking lately, especially the past 2 days. Too bad I'm finding the driving to be less and less effective. The store's been slow lately and it makes things a little tight for me and the business and just the other things going on in my life (see above paragraph) aren't helping much either...

So any good news? Hmm. It's a new month? I think that's a good thing. Plus the kiddies are outta school in less than a week which means the summer is starting. Hopefully we'll see a severe swing in business. I just gotta get through this slow time. I mean, it was a slow time I was warned about, so I'm not overly surprised about it.

So that seems like all for now. Until next time...

May 16, 2004

Last month, the store saw it's first true month of profit. Pretty exciting if you ask me. We are also seeing a continuation of the same growth trend in business from month to month. Surprisingly, the increase in sales month to month has been nearly identical since the first and second month.

I washed my car for the first time the other day. Woke up early before work and spent about 2.5 hours washing it inside and out. I was extremely happy with how it came out, especially when I put the stuff on the tires to make them shine and be all black and stuff. Too bad the rain we had yesterday knocked that out. Definitely a quicker wash though than my old car, so that's nice. Maybe one of these Sundays off I'll take the time to wax it too...

My parents are down in Florida for about another week. They've been down there since last Friday. Sure makes for a quiet house. No one's around in the morning and no one's around at night either. I guess you might say that could be a good thing, but I'll just leave it at that. They are down there for a friend's wedding so they are there with a lot of folks they know. They hardly call to check in...hehe. Guess that means they are having a good time.

The summer is quickly approaching and I'm starting to get a little concerned. I'm wondering if the summer is going to be so ridiculously busy here in the store that I'm going to wish I had someone else working for me. I guess time will tell, but it's too bad that I can't look into the future.

Speaking of that, can you imagine how easy decisions would be if you could see into the future and know how major decisions in your life could effect the rest of what's ahead? I guess that would take the fun outta things, but wouldn't it also take the stress outta other things? I need to find a crystal ball...

Well, I think that's about it for now. I could probably sit here and keep writing, but it would probably turn into rambling pretty quickly. Until next time...

April 24, 2004

Well, time for an update on life. Not too much going on lately, but there are some things to talk about.

We had the carpet replaced at the store this week. The carpet that was installed back in October before we opened started to shred shortly after it was installed. Home Depot came in and did some tests and stuff and found out that the carpet was defective plus was not of a quality that we needed in the store. They determined that it shouldn't have been sold to us in the first place, so they put in new, better carpet for no charge. So Monday night, we closed at 8:30 and took the store apart. Then on Tuesday, they put the new carpet in from 10:30am - 8:00pm. By midnight, the store was back up and running. We had a lot of help from some of my customers that really was great because it made things go a lot quicker.

In other news, I'm sick. Yay! Yeah, believe it or not, I'm sick and even on medication now! On Sunday I started getting sick after a night out with Kris and Marisa. We went to Outback and then Kris and I went to a movie. After the movie I came back to the store and started to feel sick. That continued into Monday. Then on Tuesday, I was starting to feel better so I started eating again. Well, I think it was too early. Because then I started getting these really bad stomach aches, no like sick aches, but like sore aches. So after dealing with that Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, I decided to go to the doctor on Friday. The doctor said it sounded like I had some sort of gastritis and gave me some medication to help. I also have to go for an ultrasound on Tuesday to have things looked at to make sure there's nothing else (I'm guessing like an Ulcer). So it's been a long week. I'm quite worn out cause the stomach aches don't let me sleep either. I finally got a good night's rest last night after starting to take the medication. The bad part is that I feel really good right now, but I'm not supposed to eat greasy or spicy foods....what else is there in Pat's diet?! Hehe.

The weather is starting to get nice and man am I excited. I'm finally getting to drive out in my new car with the windows down and it's GREAT! I think because the car is just a smaller car, the bass travels much better in it and you can feel it a lot more. I love feeling the bass. :) Now I just need to tweak my radio a bit so that I can turn it up a little louder. Otherwise I get distortion...boo!

I was looking at moving into an apartment above the store, but I don't think it's gonna happen. I don't really have the money to live up there and my income isn't really high enough to be able to afford it. Plus, home is free, so why move out? :) But seriously, it's a nice place and I would love to do that cause then I could walk to work, but the impact it would have on the store could turn out to be pretty negative. Maybe if the place is still open come summer I could reconsider, but I don't think I can afford it right now.

I think that's all for now. Can't think of much more going on. It's been a while since my last update, so I'm sure there's more, but this will hold you for now. :) Until next time....

April 17, 2004

I received a message from Mike this morning that his father passed on. Pleasee continue to keep Mike and the rest of his family in your thoughts and prayers.

April 1, 2004

This isn't so much an update as it is a request... For the past week or so, one of my good college friends, Mike, has had an away message up that said he was home because his father was in for surgery and was not well. Since I hadn't spoken to him in a little while and I had talked to some other people, we thought it was just back surgery or something to that effect. Last night Mike returned home and put up an away message that said his father has Glioma, a brain tumor. So all I'm asking is for you to keep Mike, his father, and the rest of his family in your thoughts and prayers. I'm sure Mike will need everyone's help to get through this and I'm sure we will all be there for him. We're here for you Mike, never doubt that....

As I find out more information, I will do my best to pass it along.

PS - Yes, it's April 1st, but this is no joke.

March 17, 2004

Just a quick update. As I predicted (but taking a little longer than predicted), the commercial has been finished. It should start airing on PCTV (channel 4 locally) no later than tomorrow night. If you want to check it out without watching it on PCTV, I have the PC version here. You may have to right click and save the target.

One other thing I forgot to mention, about two weeks ago I surpassed 1 year of Grid research for cancer and smallpox. The link is still at the bottom of the page if you are interested. The PC's at the store are now doing it when they are idle and have combined for over 120 days in less than a month!

Did you ever get a good idea in your head, and then start doing something only to realize you should have waited? Well, that just happened to me. I was all set to update this, software open, deleting text, when I realized I should have waited a couple days yet. The reason for that is tomorrow I should get the proof for the commercial. So that means once the commercial is done, I'll want to update this again and that's just so close to the last update. Oh horror! Hehe. Oh well, so you'll probably (no promises) get two quick updates here. So that was the first bit of news.

The second bit is that I finally got my subs back in my car! YAY!! Now I can annoy people again...especially the people upstairs as I leave everynight at 3am! Hehe. Anyways, I had the place in Gilbertsville do it for me cause I didn't have the time to do it. I had to buy a new enclosure from them so that I could fit the speakers in the trunk (the old one was too tall), which that part I did myself. But yeah, I'm glad they are back. Now to tweak them with this new headunit. :)

My dad turns 50 tomorrow. He seems a little down by it, but they are heading to Disney tomorrow and he's flying on his birthday, so I think that will help. He's also meeting his sister and my newest cousin down there, so that should be a lot of fun. We bought him one of those portable DVD players with the 7" screens for his birthday and he doesn't know it yet, but there will also be a gift basket to greet them at the hotel at Disney.

The "cleaning up my act" is going well. I'm here a little late tonight but that's because the kids are off school tomorrow and I also had customers here till 2:45am. Well, I should be heading home. Since the kids are off tomorrow, I'm opening at noon and it's past 3am now. Probably talk to you soon!

So it's been two weeks or so, time for another update. You know, I really want to try to do these more often, but I just don't have much to say. But anyways....here goes...

The commercial for the store should be done next week (if not tomorrow). I'm pretty excited. They took some shots of a lot of different things around the store including me helping some people with gaming, so that's pretty cool. They also took some shots of my huge PC, so that might get on TV!!

My car goes in to have my amp installed next week. I would do it myself if I had the time, but I just don't. I spend all my time here and if I'm not here, I'm either sleeping, eating, or watching a movie. Oh well. I'm also getting a new box for my subs since the old one was too big for my trunk. Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. I just really miss the bass and can't wait to get it back in the car. Hopefully it won't kill my battery...hehe.

Well, that's about it. I've been trying to get some structure in my life and "clean up my act" a bit lately, so 1:30am is getting late for me. I try to leave the store no later than 2:30am each night which gives me plenty of time to get to bed and still manage 8 hours of sleep. That's great for me, especially when I have to get up early some days (9am, yes, that really is early) and I'm well rested that getting up early isn't a big deal. Come back in two weeks for my next update...I doubt it will be any sooner.

Time for another update. Life's been good lately. The store's been quite busy, so that really helps out with things. We had a guy in here the other night filming our store for a commercial we're going to run on PCTV in a little while. It will run for one month, at least 5 times a day. I don't know that PCTV gets quite the viewing we would need, but we'll have to see. If things go well and the dough is there, maybe we'll go for some Comcast advertising. At any rate, it's something to try. The coolest part is that when they are done, they will create a format that I will be able to make it available on our website. That will really give people a chance to see the store! I'm pretty excited about that part.

I saw 50 First Dates the other night. The movie was quite funny yet semi-depressing because of how the guy was so in love with the girl (NOT because I didn't have a date :-P). It definitely was funny and worth seeing though, so that was good. I don't really get my day off this week to veg, so I'm going to have to wait another two weeks before that comes along. Oh well, I'll manage I'm sure.

Not much else has happened lately so I guess this is where I wrap this up. Come back in two weeks for the next update. ;-)

Low on sleep, ready to pass out, I'm updating this...don't ask me why. Actually, I'm doing it to update but also add the link above. For some reason, I'm getting a lot of hits to my website because people are finding my mentioning of the store in my updates. So now I have a link directly to the store on the homepage. Anyways, big day tomorrow....my first day off for no good reason! It looks like I'm gonna start taking every other Sunday (or so) off so that I have a chance to have something resembling a life from time to time. I'm pretty excited. Gives me a chance to get some sleep and get some stuff done other than being here. I'm going to see Miracle tomorrow afternoon, the movie about the USA hockey team that beat USSR (Miracle on ice). I think it's gonna be pretty good...if you're into that sorta stuff.

That's really about all that's been going on lately so that's all I have to say for now. Short and sweet and now I can go home! Until next time....
