||Care Assistants needed to care for the
elderly in Shakespeare's Town, Stratford Upon Avon. The job is
paid by the hour and you can work fulltime or on a more
flexible basis. |
Ideally we are looking for two care
assistants prefably with some care experience, a clean drivers
license and a suitable valid working visa for the UK.
You will responsible for undertaking community
care work to a high standard as directed by the Manager within
the policies, practices and procedures of the Agency.
1. Understanding at the outset the
nature of the community care work to be undertaken for a
client as explained by the Manager or Deputy Manager.
2. Discussion with the client and/or representative to
ensure that the community care work undertaken remains
appropriate (including liaison with, and following
instructions given by the Social Worker in the case of Social
3. Reviewing with the Manager or
Deputy Manager the community care work undertaken for a
client, on a weekly basis.
4. Reviewing with the
Manager or Deputy Manager any circumstances concerning a
client which give cause for concern.
clients with: washing; bathing; dressing; using the toilet;
getting in and out of bed; eating and drinking; nail trimming;
general mobility; prescribed medication; rehabilitation;
social stimulation and outings; cleaning; washing; ironing;
shopping; meal preparation; washing up; collecting pension;
providing information; assistance with form filling.
6. Where appropriate, reading, understanding and
complying with any client's care plan and recording care given
and any changes observed.
7. Being familiar with
Health and Safety considerations in a client's home and the
Health and Safety Policy adopted by the Agency.
Maintaining records regarding the personal and social care of
each client on a regular basis as required by the Manager.
9. Ensuring that clients and colleagues are not
discriminated against in any way, particularly in regard to
their sex, sexual orientation, ethnic orientation or
