AmazingB, I laugh at you, for you are so mistaken about this show! No other show has as much background history and details, plus its in WIDESCREEN! Hello?
One of my favorite episodes is when that small N'rogara assault team made it into Home System and attacked Jupiter. The mech battle on Europa was awesome, and so was the space fight in Jupiter orbit.

Who cares about widescreen? That does nothing to save the storylines. And history and details don't matter when they're as cheesy as they are in OA.

The stories are crap. Any number of them have been ripped off from Star Wars and Star Trek. And to a lesser extent Babylon 5. If OA had some original stories, then maybe it could be considered decent, but as such, it is not a good show.

I'm baaaaaaack! (1st post since ban) One of my RL friends (who is also named Jonathan- those who were in the JC Chat might remember him) says he doesn't like the show!
He basicly agrees with Amazing, though I have to disagree.
The N'rogara have played a little part, and though they haven't been in the show for a few recent episodes, I think that there's a major plot twist comin up involving them, thats just a rumor I heard.
Anyone know whats gonna happen with Rear Colonel Zasha of the N'rogara? After Mango captured her at the battle, I haven't heard anything regarding her....

No, but do you remember the earliest episodes with the navigator girl who used to hit on Russ? And how he would try to avoid her like the plague?
Russ: "Mango, do something...Camellia the nav girl is coming..."
Mango: "Like what?"
Russ: "Oh, just be yourself. That'll be enough to turn her away."
But then they killed her character off! She was so funny, because she was butt-ugly but thought herself attractive!

I met the guy who plays Russ the other day!!! He is so cool, too! He's really into the role. He was at my local bookstore, but he's already left town. Man, what's your favorite eppy? Mine has to be, "And then there was one," mainly because of how dramatic it is when:

No, Amazing. The acting is pretty good (it's funny!) and the mech scenes are awesome.
You have to admit, the mech scenes redeem EVERYTHING about it, even the sometimes-annoying characters and the sometimes-confusing plot lines.

No. Mech scenes cannot redeem a bad show. Nor can the widescreen. The most important things a show needs to be good are good stories, interesing characters, and good acting. And this show has none of those.

OMG! Biggest plottwist I've ever scene in an OA show!
Behold:
Update for those do missed last week's show:
Bubgold's held Delta Xeta Station (human)under siege.
Pitiful humans scared.
Humans trade back Colonel Zasha to the N'rogara for aid.
N'rogara agree. Humans get on N'rogara evac ships.
Commander Mango captures one of the N'rogara ships (whether through bravery or cowardice left unknown- most humans very angry with him now though), destroying several others while running away.
N'rogara get angry, scattering bubgold fleet and destroying station in huge big dogfight action space scene. Big Human Flying Mech Carrier destroyed.
During the epic fight scene, Russ captured.
Bubgolds announce they have yet another superweapon, and warp out of the system.
Show ends with:
Russ about to be tortured, Mango being chased by Bubgold and N'rogara hunter groups, and main human force scattered!
Anyhow, with Season 2 ending next month, will human/N'rogara relations be able to improve to destroy the new Bubgold superweapon? Or is it the end for our heros?
