Members of the Artist Colony meet once a month to continue developing this program. As the project gains momentum, the downtown is fast becoming a venue for artists to interact and to create works of art.

The Artist Colony of Zanesville can help artists find space in which they can live, create and exhibit their work. In collaboration with the Zanesville-Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce and other organizations, the Artist Colony will also, help promote member artists among tourists and prospective buyers. In addition, the Artist Colony as a body can present special public programs, walking tours, open houses, and group exhibitions.
