Analogy: Let's compare my technique to spam. You'll pay say $200.00 for the software to send this out. Then you'll have to pay for a throw away ISP, because after you send out the emails you'll lose him anyhow. That's another $50.00. Now, how long would it take you to send out 100,000,000 spam emails at say 10,000 per hour? Say you send out 100,000 spam messages per day. It would take you 1,000 days to reach this many people. How many throw away ISP's will you have to go through at $50.00 each before 1,000 days of spamming are done?
This is not counting the flames, bombs, losing your ISP, and early morning knocks on the door. If you were to pay for the names, the normal charge is .10 per email address for 'opt-in' names. This would cost you $1,000,000 to purchase 100,000,000 names, but this isn't an option either, because not that many are available. In fact, I've never seen a harvested email CD selling that had over 50,000,000 email addresses on it. Plus, email addresses change like underwear, and in 2-3 months, about 40% of the addresses would be undeliverable.
Now the ordering ratio for spam based on current studies is about 1/1000, so there is money to be made. Say my technique pulls just 10% as efficient as spam (1 order out of 10,000). Let's break it down.
If I advertise to 100,000,000 people, and just one person out of 100,000 orders my product, I have just received 1,100 orders!! How do I know without any doubt these are realistic numbers? Because entrepreneurs are doing this right now in the weeklies, such as the Thrifty Nickel Networks and State Classified Networks, advertising in media with only about 20% of the shelf life that my program reveals..
Say you have a product that gives you a $20.00 profit margin. You've made $22,000 with my technique, all 100% above board and legal, while the spammer is still weeding out flames and hunting down bulk friendly ISP's (probably even receiving calls from attorney's). BTW, attorney's are opportunists that make a comfortable living by suing people, so please don't take this lightly! Attorney's eat and pay their bills by going to court, so beware! Personally I just delete spam and it doesn't offend me because I know I'm in the business and expect it, but many people take a much harsher point of view.
