As I boot up Last Blade 1, I try to think of a person I could put in my action shot finally I decide that I will use someone who has a move low to the ground to make it look like they glided underneath the bombs.  I decide on my favorite Last Blade Character... Lee Rekka.  While in Training Mode (using the console version just for that) I perform Lee's sliding move and press tab to go back to the NeoRage GUI. I then click on "Shot Factory" and you should come up to this screen...

I then begin clicking on the small x'es in the little boxes  as parts of the screen begin to disappear.

When I finally have just Lee and his fan (note: in Last Blade the character's weapon count as a sprite) I click on "Alt. Background" to get the pink background and unclick Front Layer to get the guages and credit counters off.  I then click on Save Shot.

I continue doing some moves with Lee and instead of catching his sprite I catch the effects that occur from his moves.  Such as this flame effect.  During this time I also capture some explosive effects from King of Fighters '98.

Now that I'm done taking all the screen shots I need I exit Neorage and go into the shots folder of NeorageX

Unlike Nebula, Neorage saves it's screenshots in bitmap form. So there is no need to do what I had to do with Nebula sprites. I open up the the bitmap that has Lee doing the move.

The same things apply to this as it did in the first sprite tutorial remove everything that was once in pink and replace it with white.

Also for previewing purposes and size differences I move the sprite to the upper left corner and crop it the file.  I do the same with al the effects I captured. Which gets me to another point...

I went on ahead and copy and pasted all the explosive effects I captured from King of Fighters '98 into one file fore easier access.

This part of my tutorial is really unnecessary for my own fakeshot and is actually not really necssary in general but I am supposed to be explaining every aspect of this and so a miniature tutorial on Ripping Neo Rage Backgrounds.  I choose any particular background from Last Blade (since it was already loaded) and go to the fathest right point. I then press tab and go to shots factory.

I remove all aspects of the screen but the background and save the shot.

However this specific background had a front peice as well so I save this too.  Overall you may notice that the background looks fine without the front piece but sometimes you may wish to add it.  Just adhere to all the basics I have explained beforehand except you should probably not crop the sprite that way you can easily put the peice on the background.  Something else I will add is that most Neo Geo backgrounds feature alot of animation... this makes it a bit difficult when you're combining backgrounds together.
