A unique vehicle based on the Jeep CJ3 design and
fitted with a Peugot 2.2 diesel.
Built in India by Mahindra and Mahindra where they are used widely especially by
the armed forces and police. This vehicle was designed with off-road use
in mind.
The Mahindra Jeep was imported into Australia between 1990 and 1993 and all
have a compliance plate to meet Australian requirements.
