About The Dolls

The original Medallion Woman (upper right) went off exhibit at the San Diego Native Artists Show in April 2005 and is now in the collection at the Autry National Museum of the American West in Lost Angeles. She is a limited numbered of 10 and all available editions have been sold out since December 2005.


"Copper" (upper middle) has white horse tail hair. Her dress is made from gold colored cloth, accented with turquoise and copper glass beads. Her moccasins are made from turquoise glass and copper beads. Her necklace is copper beads.

"Bluebird" (upper left) is first in the Powwow Series. She is made from black denim, with glass beads and white feather plume with bone pipe holder. She is numbered, with numbers 11-50 available. Bluebird has been accessioned into the May Gallery Collection at the University of San Diego .

All doll bodies are machine made and sewn into place by hand by artist. Doll's dress and accessories are hand sewn and assembled by artist. Each doll takes between 6-18 hours to complete. All doll's ribbon is satin and their hair is genuine horse tail. All dolls come with a card of authenticity from Lakota Doll Maker, Diane Tells His Name.
