Red Maple is considered a "soft maple" and is named after its bright red leaves during autumn. The tree grows to around 60~80 feet and has a diameter of around 1~2 feet. It usually resides in moist soils (swamps are common) and is used mainly for furniture. Its leaves are red maple leafs, just like in the Canadian Flag, and has fruits with paired red wings.
