Rafael Don

In all honesty, Rafael doesn't usually look like this. His hair is usually a little more combed. And he's far too timid to wear this outfit to school. But he has this odd feeling that no one would want to read a comic where the human occasional-co-star wore a conservative shirt (but without cool brand names) and nice, un-faded khakis and all in all looked like a nerd. Granted, he is a nerd, but when the weasel "protagonist" looks almost like a female mustelid Dilbert, well, someone has to look at least mildly cool. Er, well, we'll just not pass judgement on whether Raf looks cool or not (he's rather sensitive about these sort of things).

Rafael is, at the moment, the sole fictitious member of the comic, so I can talk about him as much as I want on whatever topic I want and he won't be able to hurt me. It's kinda fun. As far as basic stats go, he's a straight-laced Mormon boy of mixed heritage (he's mostly Native American). Okay, he's a little weak as far as the hair goes--but it's not as though it's a sign of rebellion. He just keeps forgetting to get it cut (it drives his mom crazy). He's an introvert, polite, but not particularly social. He has an awful sense of humor and some taste for puns (it got him beat up a lot in earlier years). He knows karate (just thought I'd mention that), not that he's ever actually used it. All in all, he's an even tempered, mildly oblivious, quiet kid who only dares put on a tank top and leather jacket when he's at home in his room.

Actually, Rafael is in the comic for two reasons. 1. He's fun to draw. 2. I will eventually (when I get good and confident enough) attempt a comic arc (as in, an actual story) where he is featured--so I'd better be pretty practiced at what he looks like.
