The primary interview and first test flight shall be administered by the recruiting Officer or delegate. The second may be flown by any member of JG26 (Probation pilots (P) included). If the Recruitment officer or delegate deems the applicant up to JG26 standards after the first interview and test flight, he may choose to find a second JG26 pilot to administer the second test flight or complete it himself. The second test flight is the same as the first in its objectives. The second JG26 member files a report with the recruitment officer or delegate. If they both agree that the applicant is up to JG26 standards the recruitment officer shall notify HQ where he will he be sent for a final interview. Final interviews are to be conducted ONLY by Generalmajor Rhin, in his absence the JG26 Adjutant, and other members of JG26 as requested by the officer in charge.

If HQ accepts the applicant, the new recruit and JG26 as a whole will then be notified of such by the Kommodore and / or Adjutant and the new member shall assigned to the Gruppe. Only upon the assignment may the recruit change his moniker to JG26 (P).
