14 August 2004 – Azadi Celebratoins
(Azadi Walk under JS Flag March &
Cycle Rally under JS Supervision)
We are pleased to inform all that Jauhars had another wonderful 14 August full of amusements while learning the skills of Men-Management at Mass-Level. We are thankful to Al-Mighty Allah who gave us strength to prove that Jauhar is not only a scouting group but a Brand that always produces best possible results.
I am thankful to all team members (all scouts & scouters) who under supervision and guidance of Event Leader ‘Noman ul Haq’.
Participants of the Event were as under;

At assembly point F.G. Schoolflaghosting was made at 0800 hrs following by the National Anthem. After some talk related to 14 August Celebrations scout were informed about their duties and were briefed about their roles & responsibilities throughout the activities of the day.
Later on, scouts were deputed for trafficmanagement for smooth flow of traffic after necessary traffic diversion. 1000s of School kids were gathered under the banners of their respective school and we started off the Azadi walk with permission of Nazim UC-01 Model Colony, after defining him the route & how we will go about it. Nazim lead the walk and rest of the schools followed him in this walk under the flag march of Jauhar Scouts who were playing the leading role in this march.
I salute to all (shaheens/scouts/rovers/scouters) who worked remarkably and did a job wonderfully done – an intelligent hard work no doubt since, despite their strength that was not more than 18 controlled the masses of 1000s which were in various groups and every group was trying to take lead to the other one to come in front. City Nazim, Janab Naymatullah advocate also joined this walk after the mid point and remained with us till the end of the event. Only those who were at the spot can feel that how difficult it was to make U-Turn of 1000s of highly condensed participation but people are witness that it was smoothly done without any problem (Manila Rope really worked well for us this time) but JAUHARS really performed astonishingly well at that point of time.
After one hour break Cycle Rally was organized & lead by the Jauhars, due to some routes diversion and a bit lacking of our advance party, there was a bit panicky situation near the end but overall another outstanding performance by Jauhars…. VERY WELL DONE JAUHARS and thank you once again all who were physically with us during these activities and all those we felt all the time with us due to their prayers for us which also award us such achievements & accomplishments this way.
NAZIM UC-01 was very grateful to Scouts and personally forfeits gratitude to JAUHARS for making these events successful and for the smoothness in all spheres of activities.
We are hopeful that the upcoming years will bring more learning experience for us and we feel these successful events as additional shining pips at our shoulders.
