Typically, when choosing an exhaust header for your car, consider where you need boost in power the most. Most people will opt for aftermarket extractor type exhausts, and by and large they are a good thing, but there are a few things to look at first.

4-1 exhaust header
| suitable if you are looking for high rpm dragging power. | |
| Extreme performance in the higher rpm range. | |
| Hurt your low end, but will really make up for it when you are wringing it out above 5500 rpm! | |
| For high performance and drag race use. |

4-2-1 exhaust header
| So called the tri-y header. | |
| Improve the low end power considerable and may give you a little increase on the tope end. | |
| This system gives all round power/even distribution of power throughout rpm. | |
| For road and club use. |
*headers depends on engine cylinder. If your engine cylinder is a 4-cylinder type, you can use as the above. However, for perodua manufactured cars are all 3 cylinder engine only can use 3-1 headers.
