St Lucia Cub Pack Home Page

As of the beginning of 1998 there are 14 boys in our pack. Late last year we sent two boys on to the Scout troop. There are three sixes:

RED: Conor Whiting (sixer), David Geroff (seconder), Nicholas Therkelsen, and Stuart Paton.

WHITE: Alex Ridley (sixer), Alex Potrezba (seconder), Robert Stewart, Richard Stevens, and Jake McKenzie.

BROWN: Christopher Cardell (sixer), Tristan Tobin (seconder), Matthew Brancozzi, Sam Thomason, and Lewis Watanabe.

The Pack meets at the Cub Den near the University of Queensland on Monday nights from 6:30pm to 8:00pm.

In 1997 the pack went on three camps: in February to Brownsea (water activities), in August to Baden Powell Park (general activities), and in December to Lake Cootharaba (water activities).

We also took part in an Air Activities Day at Archerfield aerodrome, marched in the ANZAC Day parade at Toowong, and participated in a number of district activities.

Plans for 1998 include:

A water activities camp at Allawah on the Brisbane River in late February;
Attendance at Cub Scout Fun Day, BP Park, 15 March;
ANZAC Day march;
Cubyanya Day - 17 May;
Camp at Tyamolum in early June;
Taringa/Milton/Toowong Rally - 25 July;
Skillorama Day - 5 September;
Group Camp - 28/29 November;

The Cub Scout Leader is Scott McKenzie (Bahgera), who is assisted by two Venturers - James Hanlon and Kristian Allison.
