Introduction

    A common concern people have about past life recall of any kind is being over-whelmed by strong feelings and traumatic memories, but the truth is that the risk of being overly upset by past life recall is minimal because your mind will protect you from reexperiencing the most disturbing feelings. In fact, usually your mind will repress aspects of a past life that you are not ready to experience.
    Before you make a tape, read the script several times through so that you are comfortable with the wording. It's best if you read the script in as natural a manner as possible. You might change the wording if it doesn't feel natural to you, as long as you keep the general meaning. Read the script in a slow, neutral voice, pausing when you read the ellipsis (...) and slowing at each comma. When you come to italicized words, slightly lower your voice for effect. Your unconscious mind will pick up on the different voice inflection and give those words slightly more weight.
    It may take a number of sessions with your tape to experience any effects from it. After you have done it once, you may want to alter the script based on your experience with it, to customize and improve it to meet your own needs. Feel free to be as creative as you want with the script, use it as a guideline to help direct yourself.
    Prepare to listen to this tape in the same way you would prepare to meditate. Find a calm, comfortable place free of distractions. You can sit on a chair or a couch or even lie down on the floor or a bed. Get comfortable and relax as completely as you can.
    When you play the tape, you may go back to an earlier time in your present life or in a past life: Your inner mind can choose what time period to access.

The Script (to be audio taped and played back during the regression, and no, you don't say the number unless it's counting)
 
1) Close your eyes
 
2) Take a few deep breaths, breathing down to your diaphragm. Now breath all the way down to your diaphragm, counting to three when you breath in, and counting to six when you breath out...Do this three times...
 
3) Continue to focus on your breathing, and as you do, you may notice that your breathing is becoming slower and slower...
 
4) As your breathing becomes slower, you may find yourself getting more and more relaxed with each breath that you take...
 
5) Now imagine that there is some healing relaxing light that is coming down from the universe, that enters you through the crown of your head...You pick the color or colors of the light. Maybe it's white, or green, or purple, or some combination of colors...
 
6) This light is traveling down your head, first your forehead, then your face, and the back of your head...
 
7) As it travels down your body, you can feel yourself getting more and more relaxed...Now the light travels down your neck, and your shoulders, and then down your arms, to your fingertips. As it travels down your body, you can feel yourself getting more and more relaxed...
 
8) The light continues to travel down your body, and as it does the feeling of relaxtion spreads throughout your body,...continuing down the trunk of your body, and down your back...down the middle of your body and down your legs, to the soles of your feet, down to your soul.
 
9) Now imagine, fully and completely, with all of your ordinary and nonordinary sense, this healing, relaxing light, filling your body, going to all parts of your body, down to the cellular level...
 
10) Now imagine this light moving outside your body, and completely surrounding you, front to back, side to side, top to bottom...And this light extends several feet around you, and this light protects you...It lets in positive growthful influences from the universe, wisdom greater than yourself from the universe, and you know there is wisdom greater than yourself in the universe, don't you?... (long pause)
 
11) Now imagine, with all your ordinary and nonordinary senses, yourself completely surrounded and filled with this relaxing, healing light...As you are imagining yourself filled with light, you can feel yourself entering a deep, deep state of relaxation...Just the right state of relaxation for you to experience today, and your mind will guide you to that state.
 
12) Take all the time you want and need to in this deep state of relaxation, where you are able to experience yourself fully and completely relaxed...
 
13) Now, imagine yourself standing in front of a tunnel...think about the what you wish to find out...focus on a feeling, a thought, a symbol, or an image that represents what you want to understand more about...(long pause)
 
14) Once you have chosen a focus, put your conscious attention on that focus...
 
15) You can count to 10 after you enter the tunnel, and when you reach the other side you can be at the source of your chosen issue, in another time and another place, perhaps in this life or perhaps in another time and place, perhaps in another body, and you will know it's you.
 
16) Whatever happens, don't censor...Whatever comes up is part of a story that your inner mind has to tell you...
 
17) Allow the judging, logical part of your mind to recede into the background. Later, it can help you evaluate what you have experienced. Know that there is always a part of your mind here observing, while a part of your mind is remembering.
 
18) Now, enter the tunnel and walk to the other side...
 
19) One...two...three...four...five...halfway there...six...seven...eight...nine...
almost there...ten...
 
20) Coming out the other side, what are you experiencing?...Can you sense what kind of body you have?...Is it male or female?...How old are you?...Notice how things look...Is it daytime or nightime?...Notice the environment, buildings terrain, other people, vegetation...
 
21) Take some time to notice what is happening...You can move actively into this life, or just observe it as if you were watching a movie...whatever works best for you. Remember, if you feel too upset, you can always leave this scene by opening your eyes...
 
22) If you enter the story, you can go forward or backward in time...What happens next?...As you explore this story, a part of your mind can observe what you are experiencing, and understand how it relates to your current life...
 
23) If you want, you can go forward to the death scene of that lifetime and experience the death...Go through the death...(long pause)
 
24) Go through the death as fully as you comfortably can, knowing that a part of you is observing and understanding...
 
25) Float above your body and observe it from that perspective...
 
26) Review that life...What lessons did you learn from that lifetime?...(long pause)
 
27) Were there any people in that life who are in your current life?...
 
28) What carryover is there from that life to your current life?...(pause)
 
29) Now it is time to come back...Let go of that past life and leave it in the past...Release the energies of that lifetime...
 
30) When you leave this exercise, as you think about this experience, you will understand more and more...You will remember what is important for you to remember...Each time you do this exercise, it will be easier and easier for you to do...
 
31) Now count to yourself from one to eight...When you reach eight, you can open your eyes, feeling refreshed and relaxed...
 
32) One...two...three...four...five...six...seven...eight
 
After you have finished this exercise, give yourself some time for relfection. You might want to write about your experience in a journal. Writing often stimulates the flow of more information and insight. Try not to go immediately back into the hustle and bustle of everyday life. If you have tapped into a past life, the meaning of the experience can become clearer to you.
