A few photographs of our visit to the Falkland Islands for the 20th Anniversary Celebrations. We were invited by the Falkland Is.Government as honoured guests with 15 other VIP's to enjoy the celebrations in the Islands and meet our islander friends.

Saunders Island is a large island 3 miles off West Falkland,on my visit I was given a personal salute with a low flying Tornado Fighter dipping his wings on the flypast.What a fine gesture by R.A.F. Falklands

Tony Pole Evans kept in daily contact during the occupation by Argentina, sending important information to Les Hamilton in Scotland which was passed to the MOD and forwarded to the Task Force sometimes within 5 minutes.

It was Bob that passed the invasion news to me in Scotland,stating that the Argentine flag was flying over Government House in Port Stanley
