Iain Livingstone of the BTO wrote back saying - "The image is clear enough to read the ring which pins the bird down to one individual.
Thanks again
Iain Livingstone"
This bird was first seen with Pied wagtails (motacilla a. yarrellii) whilst photographing the Iceland Gull at Butlins , Minehead on Thusday 7th February 2008. It was noticed to be colour-ringed on both legs , photographed and the details sent to the BTO. It was only then that the ID became clear.
V206913 ringed as a juvenile but with enough post juvenile moult to ID it as a White wagtail. Ringed at The Olympia East Kilbride, Lanarkshire 19th August. 86mm 21.8g , typical wing and weight for smaller Whites. The BTO can now produce a recovery slip for this bird.
