Snowboarding:
Discovered at the age of ten, Charlie Hobbes loves the sport even to this day.
His hometown being Icicle Inn allowed him many opportunities to train himself
to become the best of the best. His dream once was to become the most
unique and fasted snowboarding in all the land. However his family was quite
poor and the prize money that he had been winning from contests was not
enough to help support his family. When ShinRa recruiters came to his town
Hobbes put his dream to become pro to the side and focused on the most
important thing in his life, his family.
Group Techinques
Running Fire:
Invented by Charlie Hobbes and Leon Nasaki. This two part combo technique
had been discovered when fighting a giant flying monster in Kalm. In begins
with Leon Nasaki using his Fire Materia on the enemy. Charlie Hobbes would then
quickly throw a grenade at the location where the Fire Materia made contact. The
remaining heat from the materia would allow the grenade to explode in the
enemys face earlier then expected. This technique is best used against an
enemy that is floating, flying, or is huge in size. For this attack to work the grenade
must be thrown right after the fire materia is used or it will not work.
