Dwarf
Hamsters like mine, Campbells are nippy and tends to be more fierce than
other hamsters around. You may not like what I am going to say next,
so let me give you other information first before I tell you what actually
happened.
Campbells comes in different colours, I have dark brown, light brown and white, all of them have red eyes. It is really fun looking at them, they movements and every gestures just filled the boring day with joy. This is Chocolate, born on the same day/month as me (10th March 79).
Name: Chocolate DOB: 10th March 2002 Gender: Female, had not give birth to any hammie before.
Name: Milo (Left) DOB: 10th March 2002 Gender: Female, had given birth 3 times, Mother of 5
Name: Milk (Left) DOB: 10th March 2002 Gender: Male, Father of 5 HOW DID THEY MANAGE TO COME INTO MY LIFE During 2002, Chinese New Year, my mum found 2 Hammies stuck at the lift lobby, they were hiding at one corner. My mum took the hammies homes and I insisted not to throw the hammies away. 2 months later, the female hamster gave birth to 3 lovely hammies, above, Chocolate, Milo and Milk were born. My cousin also wanted to keep the hamsters so I gave my cousin the two hamsters and kept the three off springs of the first two hammies. Not long after I gave the hamsters away, the hamsters died. I felt very sad, and I do missed them every now and then. Milo and Milk started to reproduce and now I have 8 in all. WHAT HAD HAPPENED I had promised to tell you about what happened, so...there goes the scenario. I had seen my hamsters delivered a few times, and most of the time they would nurse the babies carefully and often I do not see any missing babies. In July 2002, Milo gave birth to 5 hammies, in 2 days time, 3 were eaten. I was so sad. Utterly lost for words and my family couldn't eat well because they kept thinking about how cruel these hammies are. The hammie that ate the babies was the own child of Milo. (The previous nest) Anyway, I had separated the females and males, currently 5 males & 3 females. Previous nest Hammie pictures:
