| Booking a campsite for the Victoria Day long weekend is pretty chancy in May in British Columbia, especially with the amount of rainfall we've had over the past few months. But rain or shine, we've made going up to Penticton for some early season rock climbing an annual getaway now. This year everyone got lucky with some weather that was hot enough that shorts, t-shirt, and flip-flops were all that was necessary for pretty much the entire day, and right into the evening. It also meant that if you weren't on the rock by about nine in the morning then you were probably parking along the road way on the drive up to the bluffs. |
