Hi...I am the Founder and MST of Darkness in Vegas, Dawn Bridgette...Vegas was given to Bridget as a gift In-Character almost four years ago by her grandsire...I thought long and hard about taking it and making something out of it...I had been playing in other cities, I had watched and listened and learned...After talking to a lot of people, some positive, some very negative, I decided to give it a shot...All I could do is screw up right ? Well along the way I have, it hasn't always been easy to hang in here and be MST...

Starting as an Elders Game, we had some very powerful players running around the city...Players who still almost four years later are still here...Ive been lucky enough to have some great friends who have stood by my side since the beginning, who have stayed through all the rough times and who have helped me more then once keep Vegas alive...

Vegas isn't your normal chronicle, this I know...It never has been, I don't think it ever will be...We try really hard to just Role-play without all of the dice rolling...Sometimes it just seems to make an already bad situation worse...Ive been bad mouthed by many for the things done around here...Vampires exhisting with Garou, Mages exhisting with them both...Mummies, Changlings, Wraiths...They've all been here at one time or another...The Prince having at times some of the strangest best friends...Storylines that seem to be from the strangest lands...Flying Cows come to mind first of all...

We strive for friendship, IC and OOC...We strive for fun...We strive for family...I don't want to just have a chronicle of people who are here playing...Many here have connected on a deeper level then that...Ive watched players come in who are still here, have relationships, have kids, finish school, grow...We've stood by each other through some rough personal times...My own included in that...Times of death, times of sickness, times of insanity...

It was once said to me that if I keep it up Vegas can be something I had down to my kids...I don't know about that, but I do know that she has lasted this long, I can hope she can lost as long as my desire to make her work...That's what Vegas is about, desire, dreams, hope...IC and OOC...

To those of you just coming into Vegas, may you find great RP, great friends, and some laughter...I hope that I can give you all of those things and if I don't then feel free to come to me and smack me with a two by four...Many have, many still do...

To those who have stood by my side for all these years, thank you...Jason, Joy, Sean, Matt, Rob, Force D, Ellie...God there are so many who have been here since I started or right afterwards...Ive made great friends here...Friends I will cherish and respect forever...

To those who started with me but have left for whatever reason...Know that you are thought of and you are missed...MO, James, Marcus, Derek...

With respect to those who have wandered through my life who are no longer with me because of death...My grandfather and Kenny...You made a mark in my soul when you were here, and your mark lives on even though you are gone...You are loved...
