Tags and Crests

 The tags were hidden by Devimon under the sea and were guarded by Drimogemon.  Whamon showed the Digidestined where they were hidden.

The tags are needed to hold the crests.

Each child got a tag.

They guide the owner to their crests.
   

The crests were scattered about the digital world by Devimon.  They represent the quality the Digidestined most had when they first witnessed the battle of Greymon and Parrotmon.  The crest (with a reaction) allow champions to digivolve to ultimates.  The crest were eventually broken by Appyclomon but the traits were in the childrens hearts and still work.

Symbolizes: Knowledge                               Owner: Izzy                                               Digivolves: Kabuterimon to  MetalKabuterimon Found: in a well                                          Reaction:          Izzy found knowledge when Motimon helped him realize that his curiosity was one of his special traits.
   

Symbolizes: Sincerity                                  Owner: Mimi                                             Digivolves: Togemon to Lillymon                           Found on a giant cactus                  Reaction:          Mimi showed sincerity when she was concerned for the people of the town taken over by Myotismon.
   

Symbolizes: Reliability                                    Owner: Joe                                                 Digivolves: Ikkakumon to Zudomon                     Found: In a coliseum                       Reaction:          Joe showed reliability when he felt responsible for Tk's safety after promising his mom to keep him safe.
   

Symbolizes: Hope                                         Owner: TK                                                      Digivolves: Angemon to MagnaAngemon     Found: in a secret passage                       Reaction:          TK showed hope when he kept fighting in the battle against Piedmon.  The doll of Matt he was holding gave him hope.
   

Symbolizes: Light                                         Owner: Kari                                                Digivolves: Gatomon to Angewomon         Found: Myotismon found it                  Reaction:          Kari showed that she cared about others more than herself when she was willing to turn her in to protect the other digidestine.
