The Diamond Divas won their second tournament, the 18U Der Howell Memorial tournament on May 31, and June 1 in Seattle. The Divas went undefeated for the weekend beating Team Fastpitch 6-0, Bam 18U 6-0, Eclipse 10-0, Fury 18U 2-1 in pool play with Divas pitchers Molly Chafe, Kelly Martinez and Christa Fouts only giving up a combined six hits for the day. Sunday saw the Divas beat Eclipse 8-0 and Team Fastpitch 12-1 in the Championship game. The Divas bats added great offense with Christa Fouts, Kelly Martinez, Andrea Dunn, Kasey Lackey, Molly Chafe, Chris Partida, and Ashleigh Hess hitting doubles, along with Partida, Kaeleigh Forsyth, Holly Morris and Jackie Cornwell smashing triples. Excellent defensive support was added by Danielle White.
