Hi, I created this webpage to showcase some of my works during college and during an overseas internship.

I attended college in Eastern Illinois University (http://www.eiu.edu) from January 1999 to June 2001. During this period, I served for 5 semesters on the school editorial board. The school has a daily newspaper called The Daily Eastern News. (http://www.thedailyeasternnews.com) I got to write various news articles and features during this period. Some of them required a bit of background research and most required extensive interviews. 

From January 2001 to June 2001, I was on an internship at a daily newspaper in Illinois as a reporter where I had the chance to write various newspaper articles, feature stories and editorials. The newspaper company owned papers at two adjacent cities: The Moline Dispatch and The Rock Island Argus. The two cities have a combined population of over 100,000. The company's website is at (http://www.qconline.com). 

All articles featured in this website have been published with bylines and hardcopy available.  

The articles showcased here are not the only ones available, I would be happy to present the entire portfolio if the opportunity presents itself.
