Here's a few things about me. I'm 39 years old and hey what is age but a thing. I have worked for Us Airways for the last 19 years. I like to travel to different places when I get time. The beach is one of my favorite places I like to spend my time. Camping in the mountains is another favorite thing I like to do. I live in South Carolina. POEMS

I've always found it hard to leave the ocean I linger... trying to absorb the way it feels, its sights, and smells and sounds.. Storing them away until the next time. I take away little treasures, little memories. I am aware of the danger, the changing moods... And I see the beauty even when others don't. I don't want a golden tan, showy souvenirs, or just to be seen. I am content to walk along beside it.. And even in the rain, or fog or chill, it soothes me.. helps me put things in perspective. Then even when I am no longer beside it I can hear it, see it, and touch it-in my mind Just as I can with you.

I grew up looking up and wishing upon the stars at night and I have always had an immense love for their beauty. I have always been in awe by the mystery of them and knew that they held many secrets and knew the future for me---As I lay at night in the fields and dream about my dreams--hoping my simple, but yet fulfilling wishes--would be unlocked by the stars and I would be happy. I guess that I always wanted something, but yet didn't show faith in return to them--my dreams would always, still be just that---still dreams. I didn't understand. but when I began to think, I realized I lacked the needed faith--to go with my dreams--sort of like a engine without fuel. in that you know the engine works fine, but can't without the fuel. So I began to fuel my dreams with faith....I then believed. To my total amazement--those same stars that I have been wishing and dreaming on each and every night of my life--those very special and precious stars where shining in your eyes when I looked into them. Each and every star that I looked upon and wished on --where shining so brightly and brilliantly in each of your beautiful and awesome eyes. It was when I got this faith, to fuel my dreams, that I caught my falling star- and it fell right into my open arms--and that star was You!!!

This poem is from the one person in my life who has shown me what life is truly all about. That life is wonderful and there are beautiful moments in life!

To feel the wind. To feel the wind...is to feel your gentle whisper. To feel the wind...is to feel that soft touch and warm heart. To feel the wind ..is to feel that special moment when we are blown in to each others arms. To feel the wind...is to feel life's quickening pace move on but beside you hand and hand. To feel the wind...is to feel our souls grow old together, but stay young together. To feel the wind...is to feel our bodies, minds, hearts, and souls blowing ..... together ever more.

For the one who has made me feel like that life is worth every moment to cherish.

Campfire of Dreams

Saturday, June 27, 1998

There was one hot summer afternoon I recall that my campfire of dreams came true. The afternoon sun was just starting to settle over the evening trees. I stood watching the setting sun make the leaves look as if an autumn day had come. Standing there I started to reflect on my love for the beautiful person standing next to me. I began to wonder about the emerging night time and its dreams the stars would have to offer. I knew in my dreams I would see the one beside me that I love. Now I knew it was time to light my campfire when I saw those beautiful eyes gleaming under the starlit night. We stood by the fire holding one another not saying a word except with our eyes. I remember that soft gentle touch of a hand pressing against my face as we both stood under the stars by the campfire. For an instant moment we both new that our campfire of dreams had come true...As we both whispered I LOVE YOU!

Gleaming Eyes

As we lay there on the blanket last night all I could see when I looked up is a star in the a moonlit night. Every night when I look up I always look to see if my star is there. My star always reminds me of the one I love.

The bright gleam last night that came across your face settled into your eyes. I see this gleam every time I look into your brown eyes. Your eyes have always taken me to a special place that I never knew existed.

The very first time I saw you I fell for those magical eyes. Your eyes like the star I can look deep into and see all our magical moments in life. Our life has become a magical moment in time traveling through your eyes to my star.

Even now when I sit here in the light of day. I can close my eyes an always see your gleaming eyes.

DREAMS ARE EMOTIONS OF THE HEART. DREAMS CAN COME TRUE IF YOU STAY TRUE TO THE HEART. DREAMS ARE A TIME TO REFLECT ON THINGS YOU WISH FOR IN LIFE. DREAMS OF A LIFE TIME CAN COME IN ONE NIGHT OR OVER A PERIOD OF TIME. DREAMS SHOULD ALWAYS BE CHERISHED BECAUSE THERE APART OF YOUR LIFE'S HOPES FOR THE FUTURE. DREAMS WILL ALWAYS BE WITH YOU AS LONG AS YOU HAVE FAITH IN YOUR DREAMS.

Sometimes its hard to express yourself and then there are times when you make a special friend the words come with a generous flow. The friend that I speak of is a person that I believe will be there for you at a time of need will listen with out any special request and ask nothing in return. My friend gave me a special time of compassion that will be held deep to point of remembrance that will hold true forever. My friend gave me a feeling of self compassion of myself. It was like a night time of dreams rolled up into a few hours of meeting. My friend the few hours given will be cherished a lifetime. My friend hold truth to that bond that was made because it will bring a life time of dreams forever!

My search continues to hope that there will be another night that I will hold you in my arms.
