The Earth is my Mother and Great Spirit is my Father.
Earth Mother, I pray that you will feed us, comfort us, and care for us. I pray that when we are in sorrows that you will draw us close to you so that we might remember that we are your Sacred Children. And I pray that we might remember that your clay is our flesh, your stones are our bones, and your sacred waters are the life giving fluids of our bodies.
Spirit Father, I pray that you make us strong, brave, and wise. I pray that you will teach us how to be as strong as the sacred mountains and as wise as the eagle. I pray that you will walk with us in all places we go. And I pray that you will help us remember and to know that your Great Spirit is the cradle of our own spirits.
For all the people who know that the Earth is their Mother and Great Spirit is their Father I pray. And I pray that each of you who come here to this sacred place remember yourself as the Sacred Children of our two Sacred Parents.
