In life, when you have many interests, there is no
time to squander; that is what I call being rich. Some wonder how a passion for books, a love of history, an
affinity for old time radio and the Grand Ole Opry, a fondness for the man
who was Richard Nixon, a fervor for Elvis and
Southern Gospel Music, and a
thirst for news and politics, in short, all that I enjoy and believe in,
formed within me. I believe
curiosity in interesting topics makes life all the more enjoyable. Once you construct your life so that you
can pursue your interests, you can say you are, indeed, alive.
