X Fitness Centre was created in November 2004 by
cofounders Marigrace Villanueva, Rose Wong, Kim
Hoang, Vicky Lao, and David An. The purpose for
the development of the company is to provide
services to help the customers become active and
have healthier lifestyles. The company offers a
product line consisting of classes, exercising
equipments, open gym, and weight room that helps
out in achieving their ideal body image. X
Fitness’ products and services are marketed to
three different markets: youths (13-19), adults
(20-25), and seniors (65 and above). Both external
and internal environmental factors are examined in
order to prepare and help the company to become
aware of the conditions in its surroundings.

X Fitness Centre created a marketing plan
strategy. It consists of product, pricing,
promotion and place strategies. These strategies
are to provide directions of where the company is
heading to in order to achieve its goals. The
company offers contemporary equipments for
customers to use. The company employs nice, and
friendly personnel. Additionally, the company
hires knowledgeable personal trainers to guide
inexperienced and unknowledgeable customers on how
to stay active. The company has advantages over
other competitors in a way that it provides low-
cost membership fees. Another advantage is that
the company recognizes its loyal customers by
offering incentives.

In order to ensure that the company’s performance
is doing well, it must come up with a means of
evaluating and controlling itself. Surveys and
personal interviews are conducted to evaluate and
control the effectiveness of its marketing plan
and employees while also correcting and exploiting
any negative and positive deviations.
