In a peculiar way each piece of wood directs the flow of my thoughts and hands to become something singularly special. My bowls range from about nine inches up to eighteen inches and range in price from $100.00 to $1,000. The pieces shown here: wild cherry, ancient American chestnut, and ancient oak burl are valued from $350.00 to $600.00. The Cherry piece is at Wild Woods Gallery in Boone, NC. The others are sold. My bowls are unique in the world as far as I know. Each is made using rare and beautiful wood and they never see a lathe. Through trial and error, I developed the process...
