Hello and welcome to our Angels on Horseback web page. We hope that you will enjoy visiting with us as we grow and share our experiences. Angels on Horseback was formed to help those with disabilities no matter the age. The word disability covers everything from physical, mental, behavioral, depression, to loneliness. We have yet to meet anyone that did not put a smile on their face while looking at, petting, riding, or working with a horse and this is where our therapy begins. As we grow we will be working with Occupational Therapists, doctors, teachers, and many more who can guide us to what will be best for you. Volunteers are always welcomed. There will be many areas in which one can volunteer. Even if you know nothing about what we do there is always a place for you and we will be happy to teach you. For example if you feel uncomfortable in working with horses there is the cheering section. All of us need encouragement that we are doing well to boost self confidence. There will be no smoking, bad language, or inappropriate behavior allowed. Safety will always be first and foremost in the minds of everyone who is here.
