"Our
operation started last January, 2001 and we were only 3 by that
time. When we took the first call, we felt nervous since it
was the first time to be tested and we are doing an actual
test There were still no shifting schedule by that time and
the line... so choppy!!! We had no means of escalation, no
definite contact person, no defined policy nor procedure... it was
all new for us. It was an unforgettable experience... I had
hopes before that this would stay there for good."
"However,
everything has its end and it will always come whenever it is least
expected. We knew that no one wanted this thing to happen and
we understand. Now we are here to bid our last farewell to our
dear management and colleagues and hoping someday we may be able to
see each other again in a different way but still with the same
feelings. But whatever happens... Pacific Internet will always
have place somewhere in our hearts and minds. We will always
cherish those good memories and learn from those mistakes we had
committed. We will always remember the Telecaster that looks
like a LED machine on the Jollibee's counter, our computers embedded
with worm viruses, our chairs that was not vacuumed for centuries,
our drawers filled with nonsense papers and candy wrappers, our
so-called super headsets, our teleset that looks like a scientific
calculator, our Manong Mario who's always there for us, the lamok
who bit me (damn that lamok!!! mamamatay ka din balang araw!!!) and
most of all the PH Team... wala na kayong mahihiraman and you can
now arrange yourself one sit apart so that you can have your own
privacy and if you fart no one would notice. Whatever happens...
we'll always be Tech Support and we will always remember you and the
others who had gone earlier than us."
"One
day, your supervisor will send an e-mail and the subject will be
EMERGENCY MEETING... by that time I am sure you already know what
will happen next... See you guys and good luck to us all!!!" |
