VII
DIRECTORS AND FUNCTION
Section 1.
There shall be five (5) permanent committee on, Academic, Outreach,
Cultural, Religious and Sports, provided. However, that upon the majority
discretion of the members of the Executive Council, sub-committees may be
created as circumstances may warrant.
Section 2.a.
Each committee will have one head known as the Committee Director. One
or two Co-Directors may also be called to assist the Director. Committee
Directors and Co-Directors are appointed by the President and/or the Executive
Council.
b.
Committee members, if necessary, are to be chosen by the Committee
Directors and/or Co-Directors and are to be recognized by the Executive Council
whenever possible. The President should first approve the act of gathering of
committee members.
Section 3.
The five (5) permanent committee mentioned herein shall have the
following specific powers and functions.
ACADEMIC COMMITTEE
·
Improve
and develop further the scholastic capabilities of all the Civil Engineering
students through launching of academic oriented projects and activities.
·
Devise
means to harness academic potentials and enhance its development among the
members of the association.
·
Perform
such other academic functions the president and/or the Executive Council may
prescribe.
OUTREACH COMMITTEE
·
Initiate
projects and activities that will utilize and devote the association potentials
in any other forms of services for the welfare and enlistment of the community.
·
Coordinate
with the other civic organization with the aims synonymous to the committee, on
projects geared for the religious and charitable purposes.
·
Perform
such other related functions the president and/or the Executive Council may
prescribe.
SPORTS COMMITTEE
·
Strengthen the brotherhood relationship among the Civil
Engineering students through sports and if possible join in the sports
activities of the university and other institutions.
·
Enhances the physical development of the members of the
association.
·Performs
such other functions the president and/or the Executive Council may prescribe.
CULTURAL COMMITTEE
·
Improve and develop further the socio-civic capabilities of
all the Civil Engineering Students through launching of civic and culturally
oriented activities that will enhance camaraderie and unity inside and outside
the community.
·
Coordinate with the other socio-civil organizations with
the aims synonymous to the committee.
·
Perform such other related functions the President and/or
the Executive Council may prescribe.
RELIGIOUS COMMITTEE
·
Enhance
the spiritual development of the members of the Association through spiritually
and religiously oriented activities.
·
Coordinate
with other religious organizations whenever deemed possible.
·
Performs
such other functions the President and/or the Executive Council may prescribe.
