About Me:
I was born at Lincoln Hospital in the Bronx, New York on January 4, 1957, but I grew up across the river in Brooklyn, New York. I attended Fox Lane High School in Mt. Kisco, New York, about 40 miles from the city. After my high school graduation in 1976 I went on to attend College at Morgan State University in Baltimore, MD, where I studied for 3 Semesters and majored in Biology with a Science Education minor. I now have an Associate’s Degree from Excelsior College, and I am working on my BS in Computer Information Technology at UMUC Asia.
In April of 1984, I joined the United States Marine Corps and was stationed at MCAS El Tore, California as an Aviation Support Equipment Technician. This training changed my life, because I always wanted to be around aircraft and repair machines and/or repair anything that stops working. My training gave me a great opportunity to do what I believe I was put on earth to do--make machines work again.
I've served for 17 years combined active and reserve duty in the Marine Corps, and now I’m currently in the Naval Reserves as a First Class Petty Officer.
I am happily married to Keiko and we have two wonderful little girls named Faith and Grace. I work for DynCorp International, serving to support the Navy and Marine Corps Mission in the area of the Support Equipment Rework Program. I work in Japan repairing Aircraft Engine Test Systems that are used to perform testing on F404, F414 and T700 Aircraft Engines. I have worked for DynCorp for almost twenty five years, and my current position is Japan Area Site Supervisor/Inspector.
