mayhem, and violence Thrash metal entered te heavy metal scene in the
1980's in the United States. The movement was initiated by Metallica and
moved all around the world. The kings of the early Thrash were Slayer,
who purely played with speed and hardcore drumming. Thrash Metal
disappeared at the beginning of the 90's with the grunge movement in
Seattle, but many of the bands live on. Major bands are:
