U.S. Yoshukai Karate in Illinois

In Illinois there are only two people certified to teach U.S. Yoshukai Karate. These two people are my dad, Shihan Mike Donovan, and myself, Justin Donovan. We have a karate school in Bloomington, Illnois at the Y.W.C.A. of McLean County on Hershey Road.

In Lincoln, Illinois, private lessons are available. The instructor can come to your house or you will have to go to Bloomington.

My father started studying U.S. Yoshukai Karate twenty-five years ago. He is a fourth degree black belt and also the forth highest ranking black belt in the United States with U.S. Yoshukai Karate. I have been studying U.S. Yoshukai Karate under my father since I was three years old. That would mean I have been doing karate for fifteen years.

In 2003 I became the National Bare-Knuckle Full-Contact Knock-out Fighting Champion with a decisive thirty-two second technical knock-out.
