On February 3, 2001 the New York Hitmen and the Las Vegas Outlaws played the XFL's inaugural game at Sam Boyd Stadium. So perhaps it's only fitting that the two get together to decide the league's fifth X-Bowl championship. A classic the first game wasn't, as personalities from Jesse Ventura to Tony Siragusa were ragging on the Hitmen's play. But fast-forward to 2005 and the two teams have definitely proven themselves the top of the XFL heap. The Outlaws will get another crack at a Hitmen team they lost to in week 10 at the Meadowlands after avenging their week 11 loss to the Rage with a 31-28 win Saturday night at the Citrus Bowl. The Hitmen put the Bolts away at the Meadowlands Sunday 30-20. But the Outlaws will have the home field advantage as they will end up hosting this year's X-Bowl, which was to be the league's first neutral site championship game. So much for that eh?
