Track Results

My best time to date is 8.582 @ 83.33mph with a 2.068 60' time. That pass was made after 3 back-to-back hot lap passes. I was getting a few degrees of knock in the back half of the run, which cost me a couple MPH. Click Here to see the video!

10/24/2003 I made it to the track again finally. Although, I was plagued by an ignition gremlin for a majority of the night I did manage to improve my best MPH slightly. After some basic troubleshooting, I determined the problem was a bad ignition coil. I borrowed one from a friend Danny, and managed to get two decent runs in before the night was over. I made one pass at 8.795 @ 83.29 (2.269 60') with the 3.0" pulley and one at 8.814 @ 83.96 (2.280 60') with the 2.8" pulley. The track was fairly moist when I got my two "good" runs in, severely limiting traction. Also, my race gas mixture was only about two gallons of 103 to about 8 gallons of 93 octane; so I'm sure that prevented me from making as much power with the 2.8" as I should've. Now that Sunday Test and Tune is upon us, the sun should keep the track nice and sticking, and I will be able to better plan my race fuel mixture. The combination of these two things should allow me to run into the .40s and near 85 MPH!

All my runs are made at Emerald Coast Dragway. They have nice facilities and a great staff. I highly recommend it to everyone.
