Jake

This is Jake, he is out of the famous Warrior & June Cross of Rodger Bennett. He was found in a pen at ten months old and had not been hunted or socialized at all. Rodger was good enough to buy him back for me and he is the last of that cross that was available as June died in the summer of 2007.

Jake started treeing almost as soon as I got him and does it all on his own. He is OMCBA and Kemmer registered and I expect him to be a permanent fixture here at River Road Kennels.

He suffered a near-fatal accident in December, 2006. He missed most of the season. But, he has come on strong both day and night. I have never seen a dog as willing to please as he is.

Grizz

Grizz is a Sp.Gr.Sq.Champion, and a NKC nite champion. He is a lock-down, stay-put, tree dog. He has a lot of Duff's Bob in his background and is Busher through and through. Grizz will be at stud for proven females.

Jethro - "Ro"

He is the newest male out of Grizz and Jerri. With the passing of Kodi, I was left scrambling for a backup for Grizz in the event something happened to him. 'Ro was born in May of 2009 and has just now (December 2009) started treeing on his own. At this time he likes coons much more than squirrels and honestly I could care less if it stays that way. Time will tell if he can step in in Grizz's absence.
