How to have a Personal Relationship with Christ
Everybody on this planet is a sinner. We are all born sinners. If it weren't for God's mercy and Christ's death on the cross, we would all go to hell after we die because there can be no sin in heaven. But God LOVES us so much, that he can't stand to not have us with him forever. So, he gave his son on the cross to die for our sins. Christ paid the price, death, for our sins, so that we could live eternally with him in heaven. Isn't that great? All we have to do to have eternal life in heaven is accept His gift of salvation. To do that you have to pray a simple prayer. You have to admit to God that you are a sinner. Then ask him for forgiveness and to be a part of his family. Truly believe that he gave his son for you. "Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the desert, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him." -- John 3:14-17.
