Relient K is one of those bands that comes outta know where and knocks you on the floor. Their debut self-titled album released and I like many, foolishly passed it up. Upon the release of their second album in early 2002, radios all over the nation began playing their beloved hit "Sadie Hawkins Dance". The song was awesome and I immediately purchased the CD. Relient K was more than just one song, one hit-wonders. The whole album was filled with rockin punk songs like "Pressing On" and "Maybe its Maybeline" and softer worship songs like "These words are not enough". I had the privalige of seeing these guys in concert in late 2002 and had the time of my life! Hailed as the "Blink 182" of Christian music, I have to say that Relient K just does the music better. Dont delay, go get the Anatomy right now!!......... I gave this album a 9.5 out of 10
Rk's third album (two rights) is a solid effort. Not quite as good as "anatomy" but worth buying none-the-less. Some of the songs have reallllly good spiritual lyrics like forward motion while others cant help but make you laugh like "mood Rings". I give this one a solid 8
Rk's newest album "MMHMM" is by far their best yet. The band ir really maturing and its exciting to see their popularity grow. "Be My Escape" is
