Letters from a modern-day John the Baptist

Prerequisite  readings: Doc 1a, Doc 1b

In our generation there lived in Israel a great man of God named Meir Kahane (sadly, he was murdered by a Muslim extremist in 1990 while he was delivering a speech).

*I call this man the modern day John-the-Baptist because he was blessed from Heaven with the sacred blueprint on what the Hebrews in Israel as a people need to do to merit bringing forth the Messiah! (I know that you will not agree with all his theology >> I certainly don’t! >> nevertheless after reading certain revelations of his, it ought to be obvious to anyone with a spiritual mind-set, that God has given him the Divine Blueprint for what I speak. Note: Some of his essays were written only for the ears of Orthodox Jews).

*If you patiently read this entire essay. . . you will learn many things very dear to the heart of our Eternal Father. . .matters that have nothing to do with the Middle East or being of the Jewish faith. Matters pertinent to every Believer who desires to be close to God.  But to learn of these things you will have to not skim, but thoroughly read this entire essay.

Again, because of his Heavenly revelations I call this man a modern day John-the-Baptist!  Why not take some time to read these essays of his and see for yourself?  Note: Before you read the sacred blue-print that I have just touted. . .I must insist that you first read a few of his other essays, otherwise, because of his ‘rough treatment plan’ for dealing with the Israeli Arabs and the Palestinians, you may wrongly perceive him as racist or mean spirited.

To quote Kahane: “I’ve made myself into a monster, so the Arabs would fear me.”

Note: The purpose of this manuscript is not to degrade Islam. Though the middle-eastern variety needs to be harshly criticized for a couple of reasons. First, because they tarnish God’s spotless reputation in the eyes of the secular world with their countless acts of hatred, revenge and murder, all done while proudly proclaiming ‘God is Great’ (Allah Akbar). Second, they place  their love for fellow Muslims above God’s sovereign will. Consider the fact that Moses, a man who they recognize a Prophet, as all Muslims are well aware - led the Hebrews to the Promised Land (present-day Israel). Therefore, how can devout Muslims rightfully claim Israel as Muslim land? That my friend, is an affront to common sense!

Some Muslims and Christians alike may counter what I just said by saying that on account of the disobedience of the ancient Hebrews, and their coercion in the execution of Christ, that God took away their land. (I also believe that was the case. . .but then came the holocaust (WW2), where 1/3 of world Jewry was decimated, and then right after that mega-punishment  for that mega-sin,  they got their land back again!). Then the miracle of the 1967 six day war further attests to the fact that the hand of the Almighty was clearly with the Hebrews then, and is the reason that they were victorious, although vastly outmatched by the Arab armies who surrounded them.

Some people say that the Hebrews won the 67’ war because of superior weaponry supplied via the USA. But, facts show the contrary. At that time the Israelis were not being supplied by America, but by France. It was not a technological advantage, but the hand of God that made them victorious against all odds (I have far more to say to back up this premise of mine, and will gladly do so if you request it via e-mail).

Common sense dictates that unless the Muslims are 100% positive that God permanently  revoked His gift of that land to the Jews, it’s an evil thing to try to usurp that land from the Jews. If the Muslim world honored God as much as they publicly claim, they would call a universal fast and pray to God for Him to reveal His will on this matter, before they try to usurp that land from the Hebrews. Anything less than that is an affront to the sovereign will of the God of Abraham. I am speaking pure common sense.

Neither is the intent of this paper to elevate Judaism.

Excerpt from his essay entitled, “Dear World”:

You are upset that we repress the Palestinians. You are deeply angered over the fact that we do not give up the lands of 1967, which are clearly the obstacle to peace in the Middle East.

Moscow is upset and Washington is upset. The Arabs are upset and the gentle Egyptian moderates are upset.

Well, dear world, consider the reaction of a normal Jew from Israel. In 1920, 1921 and 1929, there were no territories of 1967 to impede peace between Jews and Arabs. Indeed, there was no Jewish State to upset anybody. Nevertheless, the same oppressed and repressed Palestinians slaughtered hundreds of Jews in Jerusalem, Jaffa, Safed and Hebron. Indeed, 67 Jews were slaughtered one day in Hebron in 1929.

Dear world, why did the Arabs - the Palestinians - massacre 67 Jews in one day in 1929? Could it have been their anger over Israeli aggression in 1967? And why were 510 Jewish men, women and children slaughtered in Arab riots in 1936-39? Was it because of Arab upset over 1967? And when you, World, proposed a U.N. Partition Plan in 1947 that would have created a Palestinian State alongside a tiny Israel and the Arabs cried and went to war and killed 6,000 Jews (Me: 6,000 was 1% of the pop’n of Israel at that time- It would be like the USA losing 3 million in a war that was thrust upon us!). Was that upset stomach caused by the aggression of 1967? And, by the way, dear world, why did we not hear your cry of upset then?

The Palestinians who today kill Jews with explosives and firebombs and stones are part of the same people who - when they had all the territories they now demand be given them for their state - attempted to drive the Jewish State into the sea. The same twisted faces, the same hate, the same cry of "idbah-al-yahud" - "Slaughter the Jews!" that we hear and see today, were seen and heard then. The same people, the same dream - destroy Israel.

What they failed to do yesterday, they dream of today - but we should not "repress" them. Dear world, you stood by the Holocaust and you stood by in 1948 as seven states launched a war that the Arab League proudly compared to the Mongol massacres. You stood by in 1967 as Nasser, wildly cheered by wild mobs in every Arab capital in the world, vowed to drive the Jews into the sea. And you would stand by tomorrow if Israel were facing extinction (Me: If the Jews were to lose but one war all their men would be tortured / killed and all their women raped. . .because that  becomes the fate of losing to a sick mob as a large portion of the Arab population is.  These ones are similar to the angry Arab mobs who condemned us and chanted, “Death to America” for us invading Iraq to oust Saddam.).

And since we know that the Arabs-Palestinians daily dream of that extinction, we will do everything possible to remain alive in our own land.

THE ARABS IN ERETZ ISRAEL

It is a central tenet of Judaism that God wished the Jew to create a unique, total, pure and complete Jewish life, society and state in Eretz Israel. This being so, who can honestly believe that He then sanctioned the democratic right of a non-Jew, who is totally alien and outside the Jewish society and who is free of its religious obligation, to have the slightest say in its workings?

Eretz Israel means "the Land of Israel." Meaning the land of the people called Israel. Precisely as Moab was the land of the people of Moab and Edom that of the Edomites. The concept, the logical concept of a land, is that it serves as the home and the receptacle for a people to lead their own unique and distinctive life style. It is not the geographical area that defines the person, it is the person who controls the land. No non-Edomite was ever a citizen on Edom just as no non-Philistine was a citizen of Philistia or had any say in its national concerns or character. So, too, with Israel - the Jewish people. The Land of Israel belongs to the people of Israel. It is they who control it, define it. It is their vessel, their territory in which to create the society of Israel, the Torah society of God. Only Israel, only the Jew, has a proprietary interest in it.

And thus, Judaism lays down legal, halachic, conditions for the privilege of a non-Jew being allowed to live in the Land of Israel, the the Chosen Land of God, given to His Chosen People, Israel, to create a Chosen Torah society. And this is, of course, the heart of the matter. It is not merely that the land belongs to the Jewish people. It is that the land belongs to God and which He gave to the Jewish people for a specific reason and under a specific condition. It is the land that was indeed taken from other people - the Canaanite nations - because it is God who made the world for a specific purpose - goodness and holiness - who holds title to the entire universe, to all the land within it, and it is His to do with as He sees fit. And the rabbis, in asking why the Torah - a book of laws - begins with a story, the story of Creation, reply that should the nations point to the Jews entering the land and taking it from the seven Canaanite nations, Israel rejoins: "The world and all that is in it belongs to the Holy One Blessed Be He. When He so chose He gave it unto you and when He so chose He took it from you and gave it to us, and this is the meaning of the verse (Psalms 111): 'The strength of His deeds did He recount unto His people in order to give unto them the inheritance of the nations.'" (Bereshit Rabah 1:2)

It is the Almighty who created all - the world, the lands, the peoples in them - for a purpose. And it is He who took The Holy Land from others for the same purpose and gave it to The Chosen People, for that purpose: "And He gave them the lands of nations and they inherited the labor of peoples that they might observe His statutes and keep His laws" (Psalms 105). TO OBSERVE HIS STATUTES AND TO KEEP HIS LAWS. And that is why the non-Jew who wishes to live there can do so only under certain conditions, the most important being that he has nothing to say concerning the state, its character, its workings. This is so for all non-Jews. Any grant to them of citizenship that implies ownership and a right to shape the destiny and character of the state destroys the uniqueness and entire purpose of giving the land to Israel. It invites spiritual assimilation and eventually demands for political autonomy.

How much more so for the non-Jewish residents of the Land who lived there BEFORE the Lord gave it to the Jews. Those residents refuse to recognize such a fact. They believe the land to be theirs and dream of the day when they will regain it. To allow them to remain as proprietors, or even freely living with restrictions, is to ensure not only the general spiritual assimilation that is threatened by any large number of non-Jews, but also the threat of revanchist political and military attack.

And that is the clear concept given by the great Biblical commentator, Abarbanel, in explaining why the Children of Israel were forbidden to agree to a covenant of peace with the Canaanite nations which would give both equality and rights in the Land. Abarbanel brings down the verses in Exodus (34:11-12): "Observe thou that which I command this day; behold, I drive out before thee the Amorite and the Canaanite and the Hittite and the Peruzite and the Hivite and the Jesubite. Take heed to thyself lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land that you come upon, lest it be a snare in your midst." And here is what the great Biblical commentator says: "For having taken their land from them there is no doubt that they would always seek the harm of Israel. And that is why the verse says 'the land that you come upon,' i.e., since you, Israel, came upon the land to take it from its inhabitants and they are 'robbed' of it, how will they observe a covenant of love? It will rather be just the opposite, for they will be a 'snare in your midst' and when there will be a war, they will join your enemies and fight you."

What sheer clarity and logic and NORMALCY! What understanding of the normal workings of people's minds and national feelings! And what a difference between the great Torah scholar and the tiny Hellenists whose cowardice and fear of facing the truth lead them down such pathways of contempt for the Arabs. Of course the admonition prohibiting a treaty of friendship and equality with the Canaanite nations is EXACTLY the same for the Arabs of Israel, and for precisely the same reason. In both cases we deal with people who lived in the Land before Israel returned. Of course, they do not accept the truth of Divine ownership of the Land by the God of Israel (My addition: This is what the Bible teaches), hence Israel's right to take the Land with sovereignty and ownership. Do we expect them to? Of course the ultimate, only reason that they surrender and live quietly is fear and their understanding that they are too weak AT PRESENT to change the situation. But of course they never accept that situation as permanent and of course they dream of the day when they will return their "stolen land" unto themselves.

And so, apart from the reason that ANY non-Jews, even those from a people who never lived in the Land, cannot be granted national and citizenship rights in a Jewish state, there is far greater reason in the case of the Canaanites and the Arabs and any non-Jewish people who once lived in Israel and who see it as their land, stolen by the Jews. And, indeed, that is why so many of the Torah commentators deny the right of the Canaanites to live in the Land at all, under any circumstances, because it is impossible that they would not plot revanchist plots. There is no essential difference between the feelings of the Arabs and the Canaanite nations concerning the land they believe to be theirs (Me: The present day Muslims ought to accept the Hebrew’s ownership since they recognize Moses as a Prophet, and Moses is the one who led the Hebrews to that ‘Promised land’).

And while we may accept the view of those commentators who would grant the Arabs the limited rights of all other gentiles in the Land, it behooves us to watch them far more carefully than we would people who never lived there.

An Exchange of Populations

In all the furor that has been created in Israel and the world Jewish community over the suggestion by certain "radical" Jews that Israeli Arabs be transferred from the country, there appears to be forgotten the fact that such an action would only be the second part of an ultimate exchange of populations.

The fact is, that with the creation of the Jewish state in 1948, hundreds of thousands of Jews fled Arab countries, almost all of whom left behind all their property for which compensation was never paid. It is worth while to look at the record before we dismiss the concept of the transfer of Arabs from Israel.

Algeria had 150,000 Jews in 1948. Pogroms in that country had occurred almost every 10 years since the1890's, and during the 1930's, many Jews of Constantine were massacred despite French intervention. In 1961, the Front de Liberation Nationale (FLN) attacked the large cities where most of the Jews lived and 100,000 were forced to flee the country, leaving behind all their belongings. The FLN desecrated the Great Synagogue at Algiers and the ancient Jewish Cemetery at Oran, and succeeded in driving out all but 900 Jews by 1973. And so: Algeria 1948: 150,000 Jews; Algeria 1973: 750 Jews.

In Morocco in 1948 there were 300,000 Jews. On June 7 of that year, mobs in Oujda sacked the Jewish quarter, killing and wounding hundreds of Jews, and in nearby Djerada, 30 Jews were massacred by Arab mobs the same night. The new revolutionary government passed anti-Jewish laws so severe that they drove out 300,000 Jews. With the return of the Sultan in 1961, there was some relaxation of the laws; but by 1973 only 25,000 of the original 300,000 Jews remained. Morocco 1948: 300,000 Jews; Morocco 1973: 25,000 Jews.

There were 23,000 Jews in Tunisia in 1948. Following the revolutionary government's program of Arabization, Jews became "instant scapegoats ," and many were arrested for "economic" crimes simply for being merchants or practicing any gainful occupation. By 1973, all but 9,000 Jews had been driven out of Tunisia. Tunisia 1948: 23,000 Jews, Tunisia1973: 9,000 Jews.

Syria had 45,000 Jews in 1948. They had prospered under the Turks and the French, but when the Arabs took over, they at once became the target for both official and unofficial violence. Anti-Jewish legislation froze bank accounts and confiscated property. New laws forbade Jews to sell their property or move more than three miles from their homes. Special identity cards were issued to them, and they were allowed to work only at certain jobs. Government employees and military personnel were forbidden to patronize Jewish shops. Today there are fewer than 4,000 Jews in Syria, and they are under constant attack. Syria 1948: 45,000 Jews, Syria 1973: 4,000 Jews.

There were 45,000 Jews living in Libya in 1948. In Tripoli in 1945, 120 Jews had been killed by mobs of Arabs. After independence, most of the others were driven from the country, many were murdered after the Six-Day War and numerous others were arrested. In 1976, there were only about 70 Jews remaining in the country ruled by Colonel Qaddafi. Libya 1948: 45,000 Jews, Libya 1976: 70 Jews.

Jews have been in Egypt since Biblical times, and Alexandria had once been, at least partially, a Jewish city. In 1945, the pro-Nazi "Young Egypt" group led anti- Jewish rioting in which many Jews were killed. In 1947, a new law for companies made it practically impossible for Jewish businesses to operate. Egypt had 75,000 Jews in 1948, when bombings, burnings and looting destroyed almost $50 million worth of Jewish property. After the overthrow of King Farouk by Nasser and his "Free Officers," life for Jews became intolerable in that country. After the Suez War, 3,000 Jews were arrested and imprisoned without trial. Thousands of others were presented with deportation orders forcing them to quit the country within days and leave all their property behind. By 1967, Nasser had managed to force all but 3,000 Jews out of Egypt. There were fewer than 500 Jews remaining in the land ruled by the "moderate" el-Sadat in 1976; the rest were driven out to find new homes, mostly in Israel. Egypt 1948: 75,000 Jews, Egypt 1976: 500 Jews. (Amnesty International reported in 1976 that there were only 350 Jews in Egypt.)

Iraq was the home of 125,000 Jews in 1948. Since then, the revolutionary government has conducted an almost incessant campaign of terror against them. Nine Jews were hanged in public and 68 tried as Israeli spies in January 1968 while chanting mobs moved through the streets beating up any Jew that passed their way, women and children included! By 1973, only 400 Jews remained in Iraq. Iraq 1948: 125,000 Jews, Iraq 1973: 400 Jews.

Yemen, where 54,000 Jews lived in 1948, had none in 1976. Hundreds were killed, and the rest found shelter in British bases until they were carried to Israel by Operation Magic Carpet. Before that, it was legal to stone a Jew to death, and the law decreed that " fatherless Jewish children under thirteen be taken from their mothers and raised as Muslims. "Yemen 1948: 54,000 Jews, Yemen 1976: No Jews whatsoever!!

In Aden, there were 5,000 Jews in 1947, but in 1976 there were none. In December, 1947, Arab mobs attacked the Jewish quarter, killing several people and burning down buildings. Between 1948 and 1967, most Aden Jews fled to Israel. The 130 who remained fled after the riots in June 1967 to escape torture and certain death. Aden 1948: 5,000 Jews, Aden 1967: No Jews Whatsoever!!

A total of some 750,000 Jews fled Arab lands since 1948. Surely it is time for Jews, worried over the huge growth of Arabs in Israel, to consider finishing the exchange of populations that began 35 years ago.

(My Addition: It appears to the casual observer a great many Muslims believe that they have the true faith (since they call the rest of us ‘infidels’). I know that the Almighty One loves this saying, “Actions speak louder than words.”  What I can say about the Jews is that on the average they demonstrate a far, far greater love for their brethren than Muslims or even Christians do for theirs! For example, Israel will absorb any Jew who wants to move there (rich or poor). If the Muslims loved their brethren as the Jews love theirs, all the Palestinians would have been absorbed by Muslims countries decades ago! Perhaps the Lord expects the many Muslims countries to put their actions where their mouth is by demonstrating their love of their brethren (Palestinians), as the one Hebrew country, Israel, loves its own?)

NOW YOU ARE READY TO RECEIVE THE REVELATIONS. . . Prophetic Words of Kahane

And the isolation. The Jew does not wish to be isolated. He fears being alone, without allies. He fears man, he trusts only in man and so - in the exquisitely Divine way of the Almighty - precisely that which he fears will be sent upon him. He fears to do that which the Almighty demands - to annex the territories and establish Jewish sovereignty over them, as part of the Holy Land of Israel. The Almighty repays him by turning them into burning caldrons of an intifada, with confused Israeli youth not knowing whether these Holy lands are indeed Jewish or "occupied". While a world that is normal and knows that if land belongs to you then you annex it, feels free to condemn a country that does not do so as an "occupier".

He fears to throw out the cancer raging in his midst - the Arab enemy lest the world turn on him.

He is repaid measure for measure by a grim Almighty as the world, daily, condemns him for "oppression" of people that would not have been there had he had faith in God rather than fear of the Gentile.

In any event, the Jew will be isolated, and that is the greatest blessing imaginable. For so long as the Jew has even one ally, he will be convinced - in his smallness of mind - that his salvation came from that ally. It is only when he is alone - against all of his own efforts and frantic attempts - that he will, through no choice, be compelled to turn to God. And it is only when the Jew stands alone against a world unified in hatred against him, that the Almighty will turn, in His anger and wrath, against the nations that knew Him not, and His powerful arm that will bring salvation to the Jew will be the awesome proof to the nations that the Lord, God of Israel, is indeed One - the only One.

That is why isolation will be. That it is why it must be. It is the greatest of blessings, and the foolish Jew of little faith sees it only as a curse. Foolish Jew, Jew of Exile, whose soul and mind have been destroyed by that Exile, who has turned from a Jew of faith into one of trembling before the man of dust Unless. Unless we become the Jews we were meant to be.

The Jews of chosenness. Of might and faith. Unless we ignore both the money and the honey of the United States and their empty threats and condemnation. Condemnation? It is dandruff to be brushed away before moving on to do the will of God. In any event, there is no choice. The United States will turn on Israel, slowly and subtly, and tat not so. The difference is that if we turn from the Gentile first, we will have the Almighty as the immediate staff and our comfort. If not, we will have neither the Gentile nor, for a terrible stage. . . the Almighty.

"WHAT WILL THE GOYIM (GENTILES) SAY?"

*Commentary by a present-day disciple of Kahane: It's what it all boils down to: Fear of America. The "international repercussions". Zinni, Powell, Bush - to them we bow. It is the sin of our times - a sin that religious Jews are no less guilty of. Sure, there is a God, and He is the Omnipotent One - but when it comes to "tachlis" - Bush is the relevant one. Only fear of the world stops Israel from liquidating Arab terror once and for all. It is only fear of the gentile reaction which turns our infantry soldiers into cannon fodder as they are denied the necessary air cover, lest we kill "innocent Arabs". Instead of instilling the message that we must believe in God and not Bush, we see the national camp encouraging the very opposite message. Demonstrations are held practically asking Bush's permission to continue the war against the terror. Pathetic efforts are made to show that Israel and America are in the same boat. The idea that "Israel and America are leading the free world in the war against terror" comforts us. Indeed, it may sound nice, and there might even be short-term benefits in comparing Arafat to Bin-Laden, or paralleling America's struggle against the Taliban with Israel's struggle against the PLO. But the long term effects of this message are disastrous. It conditions us to think that the fate of the Jewish People is tied to our relationship with America. It conditions us to think that George Bush is greater than Burning Bush.

TO WRECK OUR RELATIONS WITH THE NATIONS

"...in essence, he (Meshiach Ben Yosef) goes out and intentionally wrecks the relations with the gentiles! Why? Because he knows that only when we will be alone, isolated - only then will we stop trusting the goyim, the Americans. And only then, when we will be alone and isolated - then the Messiah will come. As long as there is not full trust in God, he won't come. He won't come. (This full trust) can only come about when the Jews give up all hope that the redemption can come from the goyim - Even if this recognition comes against our will. Tsheuva. To trust in God.

...We must wreck the relations, wreck the relations. And this is precisely the opposite of what people want to hear. There is no one in the street, and there is no rabbi that will say it, but again, that is how we bring the redemption - through faith. It's not easy, and it's not a small thing. It is scary! Faith is scary. To say - Let us adopt a policy of isolation, let us adopt a policy of wrecking the relations. "Are you insane", people will say. But they do not understand that if this is not done, we will suffer the pains of redemption, suffering that we cannot even fathom; bitterness that we have not yet tasted. This is our task today. To go out to the people with a message that the people do not want to hear, are not willing to hear. And they will degrade us, and worse, it is "incitement", "sedition", and who knows what else...

Question: This means that our message has changed a bit, and we have to say things more sharply than we did five years ago? (ed: that is, instead of the message being not to trust in America, the message is now to go out and wreck the relations with America.

Rabbi Kahane: I think you are right. Because there is no time. Who knows how much time is left. We have to say it - and then, 90% of our supporters will leave us. Oh well, so be it. But we have to say it. To say: Do Tsheuva! But not just the tsheuva that everyone else talks about. Of course Shabbat, and of course Kashrut (Kosher), learning Torah, modesty - everything. But - to wreck the relations! That is the real tsheuva! To cling to God, and to separate ourselves from them. One cannot cling to God without separating himself from them. It doesn't go together. That's it. It's not easy. Isolation was always difficult. It is something that always caused worry. But it has to be. We are a "nation that dwells alone" (Am livadad yishkon - BaMidbar, 23:9). People read the verse. How nice. What a nice song it makes. But it isn't a song, and it isn't some nice saying. It is Jewish law. The laws of isolation.

Question: But where do we see such an approach - that you have to be isolated, to wreck the relations. What for?

Rabbi Kahane: Asa, Yehoshafat, Hezkiahu - each and every one - we see a common thread with each one - that he who went after the goyim (Gentiles), was punished.

Question: That means we won't buy weapons from them?

Rabbi Kahane: Of course we will buy from them, but not begging like we do today, rather like "business". Otherwise, we are their slaves. It's like Yosef. Why was he punished? Because he naturally went to the wine steward and asked: Do me a favor. He asked. And that is what we do today. If the goy gives quietly, take from him. But it is forbidden to ask from him charity - because we can exist without him. To ask him is a Hillul Hashem.

And all the while, we must take steps which will bring us to isolation. The minute we annex the territories, know that it will be a tragedy from a practical point of view. The minute we throw out the Arabs, who knows what will be! The minute we go to the Temple Mount (My addition: To this day Jews are not allowed to pray at their own Temple Mount. . . the holiest spot in Judaism!) - all these steps will surely wreck the relations. Now, when I come and say we must wreck the relations, I am not saying that Arens (ed: the Foreign Minister) should go to Washington tomorrow and give some fiery speech - No! But rather, do the mitzvot, do what we are obligated to do - and this will (ed: naturally) bring us to isolation.

Question: By seeking isolation, does this not cause us to commit the sin of "it is forbidden to trust in miracles" (Ayn Somchim Al Nase).

Rabbi Kahane: God forbid. "Trusting in miracles" is a situation where you sit and pray, and do nothing else. David went out against Goliath with the best weapon available to him, and by so doing, was not transgressing the rule "one should not trust in miracles". And we too, need to go out with the best weapons available to us, and the fact is that we have sophisticated weapons - missiles, chemical and automatic, which, even though we bought it from the gentiles... but as I said, it must be like "business". And hand in hand, we must wreck the relations, and not make accountings as to whether they will cut off aid or not, because we will get by with what we have, and with trust in God, like David......

WHY HAS THOU FORSAKEN ME?

If we would like to know the heart of the tragedy of Israel, of the Jewish-Arab struggle, of the reason why peace eludes a Jewish State that so desires it, of the cause of the ongoing suffering and tragedy, of the immutable rule that there will not be tranquility and peace for the Jew or his state, let me explain. Some time ago, an opinion poll was given to Arabs and Jews by sociology Professor Ephraim Ya'ar of Tel Aviv University. The professor gave his respondents a list of 14 factors that may or may not influence the course of peace between Israel and the Arab states, and asked each of them to rank the list in importance from one to 14. The results? The Arabs placed "the will of God" first; the Jews placed it last. Or another example: Yet another Tel Aviv University project was conducted by its Jaffe Center for Strategic Studies. Respondents were asked to comment on the Biblical verse, "The Guardian of Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps." They were asked who, in their minds, represented the Guardian of Israel. Fifty-seven percent replied "the Israeli army" and 17% declared that it was God ... And that, dear Jew, is the reason and the source and the cause of a tragedy that is building up, and that, unless swift, radical change takes place in Jewish thought and action, will bring down horrors upon the Jew and his state, Heaven help us.  The truth is that the Jew has long since become the most unbelieving of all people, the most atheistic of nations. Deluded by his intelligence and intellectualism, believing that he inhabits the heavens, he turns into the most arrogant and proud of men. Like some modern-day Adam, he has eaten from the Tree of Knowledge and dreams of Divinity. Like some modern-day builder of Babel, he is convinced that he can climb to the heavens and conquer. His cleverness and brightness that so persuaded him that he is the wisest and most perceptive of men, insures that he will be the blindest and most obtuse. No people and no faith is so convinced that its destiny is essentially its own, in its own hands. None has relegated God to the bin of antiquity, to the shadow of irrelevance, as the Jew. There are those who are convinced that He does not exist. There are those who invent Him as a Being who, indeed, has a place, but it is conveniently limited and He had better know it. There are those who pay prodigious amounts of lip service and ritual to God and whose religion fills their lives as long as there is no need to place their "belief" on the line in time of danger. Few are the Jews who sincerely believe that victory in war is totally in the hands of God, who are prepared to take the difficult and dangerous steps their religion demands, lest they have to put their faith where their claims are.  The people that were the most religious of all have become the most indifferent to God. The People of the Book place more faith in that of the check than the Bible. In time of crisis, the Jew does not believe in anything, except that which he can see, touch, feel. He can see the U.S. President; he believes in him far more than in the God of Abraham. He can feel the Arabs; he fears them more than the intangible God he pays lip service to as long as there is no crisis. He can touch the tanks of the Israeli army, and so he prays that there will be enough of them instead of believing that One is enough of Him. "For My people have committed two evils; they have forsaken Me, the fountain of living water, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water" (Jeremiah 2). The truth is that we will swear our belief in the Omnipotence of the God of Israel as long as this remains in the abstract, in the realm of theory. We show our fervent belief in the miracles that happened YESTERDAY, but we shrink from testing them today or tomorrow. That which we need not do ourselves is easily believed in and avidly taught or sermonized. Yesterday is always smoothly dealt with - who needs to place himself on the line? Who must be tested? The belief in the GENERAL Omnipotence of God easily fills our hearts. It is only when we must get down to specifics, to real and actual implementation of faith in our own lives, that the hypocrisy becomes a stench which is overpowering.  The God of Israel is not a Santa Claus. The religion of Israel is not a plaything. If there is one thing above all that the Almighty desires of us, DEMANDS of us, it is FAITH. "Therefore, the Lord heard and was wroth; and a fire was kindled against Jacob and anger also came up against Israel, because they believed not in God and trusted not in His salvation" (Psalms 78). That is the Jewish Iron Law: Belief and trust in God, rather than looking to and raising Jewish eyes unto the gentile. There can be no greater Hillul HaShem, desecration of the Name of God, than when the Jew places his faith in the power of the gentile. For what he is saying by this is that there really is no God; and this is the end of Judaism, and this is the end of any reason for the existence of the Jew. Jews have long sighed, "It is hard to be a Jew." As with most things, this too is a statement of hypocrisy. They do not really believe it. They really do believe that they can mold for themselves a good and happy life and at the same time gild it with a thin covering of comfortable Judaism.  Of course, it is nonsense. Of course, it really IS hard to be a Jew, the kind of Jew that the Almighty demands - the kind of Jew who is the son and daughter of Abraham, who faced the furnace for his belief and did not flinch; the kind of Jew who is the son and daughter of Mordechai, who faced the gallows and did not bow; the son and daughter of the Jew whose entire Torah rests on the one commandment: "And the righteous shall live by his faith." That is difficult. That is a Jew. King David turned, in his day, to God and lamented: "My God, my God, why hast Thou forsaken me?" If one listens carefully, the voice of the God of Israel can be heard in this era of Jewish neo-atheism, calling softly: "My people, My people, why have you forsaken ME?"

Why would God choose to use a man such as Rabbi Kahane in such a blessed way.. . . to make him a modern day John-the-Baptist? Remember, he was an Orthodox Jewish Rabbi >>> A man who did not even believe in the divinity of Jesus! God chose to make him not only a Prophet, but one of His top generals on the entire planet! Was this man even saved??? (Remember, he didn't believe in Jesus).

Use your common sense . . .of course a ‘chosen vessel of God’  is saved!

(Actually, he is more than saved. . he became, as the scriptures promise those who overcome. . .  more than a Conqueror!)

The Creator does not choose to work closely with anyone that He does not have great respect for. The Lord has countless multitudes of people to choose from. . .but He chose an individual who did not believe in Jesus. Use your common sense, what does that tell us?

THIS REVEALS A STARTLING FALSE-INTERPRETATION OF THIS STATEMENT OF CHRIST BY CHRISTENDOM:

"I am the way the truth and the life, no-one comes to the Father, but through Me"

Rabbi Kahane: Why did God anoint him - HIS MAIN MAN

In this paper I will point out the reasons that God chose to work in a mighty way through  Rabbi Kahane. . . a man who didn't accept Jesus as Savior. Through doing so I will be revealing God's heart; the things that He (God), not Christians consider most important!

The Prophet Isaiah said, speaking of the time of the Messiah (Isaiah 11:6), "The lion will lay down with the lamb. . . and a little child will lead them".  In this paper I will also unlock the meaning of this parable of Isaiah, and I will say other extremely important things.

Since I was raised a member of a minority group (Jews) who had been persecuted for centuries by people professing to be followers of Christ. . . I entered my adulthood with lots of 'unique baggage' that members of the majority group may have a hard time understanding, but its essential that you understand this, so please listen. . . 

When I was growing up my mother would at times angrily point to all the horrible things that had been done over the centuries to our people in the name of Jesus, or in so called 'Christian nations' (pogroms, inquisition, crusades, holocaust, etc.). Then, she would blame all those terrible events on Jesus exclaiming, "Its all because of Him!" I'm telling you this because I am not alone with an upbringing such as this, countless other Jews are in the same boat. (Many Native Americans, Muslims, and some black people are brought up under similar conditions. . . with similar baggage).

Think about this… issues such as these were never addressed in the Bible because at the time the scriptures were written the gospels were new. People professing to be Christians hadn't yet tarnished the flawless reputation of Jesus in the minds of the non-Christian world. This problem only came much later.

Therefore people like myself, Rabbi Kahane, and many others, because of our heavily conditioned  unbringing, have stopped our ears to receiving the gospels. God gives people such as us a tremendous amount of latitude for the sin of rejecting Christ. Why? Because we never took the time to ponder all the facts. . . everything preached to us on the subject was treated as fables.

The Bible states that God is perfectly Fair and Just – all the angels attest to this. He judges each person on an individual basis, taking all factors into account (such as the one I mentioned above).

To corroborate this line of reasoning: In 1978 I became fatally ill, died, and then experienced a Judgment Day Experience (JDE). Next, the Lord blessed me with another chance to live. I was dead, with God for an afternoon, and was personally taught spirituality by Him. What's more I wrote a booklet displaying it (see web-site; doc. 5) >that entire blessed experience is peppered throughout with scripture verses in order to prove to all that that entire experience was authentic.

Please listen: Part of my 'JDE' dealt with my college years. Upon entrance, for the first time I was confronted by Christian missionaries. They witnessed to me, but because of my prior negative conditioning I stopped my ears to their words. (Interesting to note, at the time of my JDE instead of being condemned for rejecting the gospels, I was merely slapped on the wrists for that otherwise most grievous sin!)

Christians say that God looks at the heart. I want to add to that that He looks at the heart not only for Christians, but for the entire human race!

Additionally, in the Christendom’s zeal to glorify Jesus they have manipulated and thus taken out of context certain portions of the Hebrew Bible (to be discussed later in this essay). Thus, portions of God’s word has been corrupted. Outlandish? I will prove my charge in this document, keep reading*.

Anyways getting back to Kahane - Since my youth I had heard over the grapevine of the brave exploits of this Rabbi. He founded the Jewish defense league, an organization which combated anti-Semitism not in courts of law, but with fists in the streets! Years later when he emigrated to Israel it was common knowledge that he would commit such brazen acts of holy-boldness as traveling to the Israeli Arab villages alone, and hand out flyers, stating that God gave that land to the Jews, thus they were the only rightful owners, not the Arabs. Therefore for them to be allowed to remain in Israel the Arabs must sign a loyalty pledge of allegiance to the state of Israel. Among those who signed, a certain maximum number established by the government, would be allowed to remain in Israel.

{That is reasonable considering the history of violent confrontations perpetrated by the Arab non-owners}.

The plan was that those Arabs who remained would keep their personal rights, but lose their voting rights. All those who refused to sign this loyalty pledge would be expelled.

From afar, I had admired him for his uncommon courage. I didn't know anything else about his life. (Interesting to note I was not a Believer at that time, but nevertheless his courage won my admiration).

Anyway, after his untimely assassination (1996), during a visit to my parents home I got into a spiritual discussion with my father, who then blurted out something like, "Jesus is not the Messiah, because it says in the Bible that in that day the lion will lay down with the lamb. . . and that has not occurred yet as you can see."

>I knew that Jesus was the Messiah, yet I hadn't a response to that statement.

Next, I walked into his kitchen. On the table there happened to be a book commemorating the life of Rabbi Kahane (the 5 year memorial of his death). As I began reading, it spoke of the many acts of kindness / charity he showed to the least fortunate ("least of them"). While marveling at this man’s humility, a Divine light illumined my mind; God spoke to me. That Bible verse out of Isaiah, ‘The lion will lay down with the lamb. . .  and a little child will lead them’, was speaking of a man just like Rabbi Kahane!

Here is what it means, "If a person develops within himself the virtues of both the 'great humility of a lamb' coupled with the 'great courage of a lion'. . . since one is low and other is high, it has the effect of stretching out one’s temple to receive and hold an excess of holy light. This holy light burns out the darkness within. Thereby that person is returned to a state of purity /innocence (notice: not merely a ‘child’ will lead them. . . but a 'little child'. .. . because only a little child is still innocent!).  This parable is a formula on how to become pure again. . . so that person can be mightily used by God. Please put the time aside now to ponder what has been said, and the conclusions drawn.

(Note: Jesus said, "I give you power to become sons of God". . . He never said that you attained this  automatically. Becoming a son of God is your spiritual potential. . .which hardly a soul attains). Kahane is an example of a man who had actually attained it, precisely because he walked the hard road for God, and through His labors coupled with God’s grace he developed within himself especially the virtue of great humility coupled with great courage (the special formula).  Since he became a pure vessel he was mightily used of God.

Another man who attained this purity was John-the-Baptist. He attained his purity through what is called becoming an ‘ascetic’ (he subsisted off a diet of only wild honey and locus/carob pods). Asceticism is a way to kill your flesh. . . so all the evil within dies – therefore its yet another ‘special way’ to attain a remarkable degree of purity.

Use your common sense, God picked Kahane because obviously, He (God) not only approved, but cherished this man! To become in the image of Christ (a noble human being of great virtue) is obviously far more important to God the Father than being a Christian in name! In other words, to become Christlike is the only essential part of the equation - ‘The only way to the Father is through Me’. . .  it will work even if you follow another faith! Rabbi Kahane is proof of this!! (Also, since we all know that Kahane's theology was not entirely correct >He believed that Christianity was based on false doctrine; a form of deviant worship! > This is further proof that one's beliefs are minor compared to the importance of having a sincere heart, flawless character, being a man of holy-action, sacrificing and suffering for God’s sake - especially being a person of great virtue - especially having the virtues of humility and courage. This personal sacrifice and suffering for God's sake, while developing virtues, is of far, far greater value to God than performing only praise & worship, engaging in Bible studies, or having a more perfect theology.

What it really means to accept Jesus, is to intently work on being molded into His image! My friend that is where the rubber meets the road! That is the real work! Gandhi, whom has been called ‘The most Christ like man of this century’ stated, “Imitation is the greatest flattery”. Since this statement comes out of the mouth of the most Christ like man of this century, common sense dictates that if Jesus was here in the flesh that He would most readily agree with that statement of Gandhi!  Thus, if even a non-Christian become like Jesus, God will place His stamp of approval on that man. Rabbi Kahane is proof of this!

The holiest group of men since the Apostlistic era were the early Franciscan-Christians (Suggested reading: "The Little Flowers of St. Francis" by Brown). Their form of Christianity was to live in extreme poverty and work on developing virtues (humility, compassion, courage, selflessness, etc.). This was an integral part of their concept of making Jesus the Lord of their life.

This is such a simple concept even a child can understand it!. By grasping  this simple spiritual principal we come to understand the heart of God. The early-Franciscans lived the true Christianity, which sadly has been replaced by head knowledge (people who live in ease/ comfort, study and discuss too much, and get their hand dirty practicing their faith far too little). . . when Paul said study he didn't mean to study, study, study, and study. . . and do only a sparse amount of good works! Just look at Paul's life. . . wasn't he full of good works and suffering for the faith? Didn't he also say, "Follow me as I follow Christ?"

Additionally, St. Francis of Assisi - the founder of the Franciscan Order, one of the greatest Christians of all time, stated, "Christ preferred action above teaching!" Christ insists that I say that again,  "Action above teaching!’, and still again  "Action above teaching!!!"

*Action above teaching is the true spirituality!!

Additionally, for the reasons which I already listed, multitudes of Jews worldwide have stopped their ears to receiving the gospels. Thus, God through His boundless love for them sent them another type of Savior; one with a mindset they could accept (sadly, so few did!). God sent them a Jewish spiritual warrior like King David. (Actually, if Jesus was living as a Jew in Israel today, I sincerely believe that He would be taking up right where Kahane has left off!). . . 2000 years ago the Roman Rulers mainly desired to only extract taxes from the Hebrews, so their rule did not bother Jesus. But the Arabs of today have far more sinister motives. A large percentage of them  desire to kill all the Hebrews so they can usurp by force what God has given to them.

*What portions of the Hebrew Bible have been manipulated by Christendom??? I’m going to present you with an  example that anyone can grasp without first having to learn a foreign language. Any student of the Bible knows the story in the book of Daniel of how King Nebuchadnezzar, King of Babylon, ordered the Jewish boys to be thrown into a fiery furnace for refusing to bow down to a graven image. The Hebrew Bible reads that an angel accompanied the Jewish boys in the furnace; the Christian Bible reads someone who looked like the son of God. Using simple common sense its obvious that the Jewish boys were accompanied by some Divine Being. My question to you is, ”How could anyone tell the difference between Jesus and a radiant angel?”  They couldn’t!! In other words to say that Jesus was in the furnace with those Jewish boys is taking liberties with the original scriptures. 

On a similar note, some Christians might ask me: “Isn't the blood of Jesus the only way to atone for sins? - “Without the shedding of blood is there no remission of sins?”

The answer is clearly -  NO!  According to Jewish teachings there were always three different ways to atone for sins; the sin sacrifice (blood; known in the Jewish scriptures as Korban Chatat), repentance, and charity. For this reason, the blood atonement has never been re-instituted. Instead, the central theme of modern Jewish spirituality is the performance of Mitzvahs (good deeds).

>Christ attested to this same mercy of the Father during His famous Sermon on the Mount by proclaiming, “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy”.

In Christianity's zeal to glorify Jesus, some passages of the original Hebrew Bible have been re-interpreted and taken out of context, and these ‘falsehoods’ have been passed down from generation to generation till they have been institutionalized! By skewing God’s word, we have inadvertently covered over and buried for dead other mercies of God the Father (other than the blood). Since I will be spending time speaking of these other mercies of God it may appear that I am trying to take people away from Jesus. I assure you that is not my intention! The Lord through me intends to spend some time raising these other mercies from the dead for all Christians to see  > To receive more in-depth knowledge on the atonement subject then I am going to impart here: www.outreachjudaism.org - read their response to Jews for Jesus. If you investigate you will find that, the blood of Jesus is the only purely gratuitous way (free gift) to atone for sins. To atone without the blood you have to pay a price. {Didn’t Jesus Himself say, “I’ve come for the sick, the well don’t need a doctor?”}. The well do penance for their own sins!

>Note: We are saved by grace and not by works only refers to the initial spiritual awakening. . . when the spiritual journey first begins. From then on performing good works are a necessity to keep us close to the Lord, lest we once again get entangled in the snares of the enemy falling into the pit we have been delivered out of.

Also, a couple of the other things Jesus said in the Beatitudes  -  "Blessed are those who suffer for righteousness sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven", and "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” What we have here are two different formulas to attain heaven separate from the blood!

>Common sense- If one was already going to heaven because they were a Christian [the elect]. . . why does Christ even speak of these other ways?

>Why??? Because they are other ways!

Here are some more -

1 PETER 4:8 - "Above all, love each other deeply, because love coverith a multitude of sins". . yet, another way to atone!

JAMES 5:20- Remember this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of his ways will save him from death, and coverith a multitude of sins". . . still another way!

King Nebuchadnezzar, in the Book of Daniel, got saved by eating grass like the oxen! (Recall what kind of person he was before his penance, and how doing that penance transformed him)

So, the Bible itself is telling us that the shedding of blood is not the only way for us to make an atonement for our sins. . . there are other ways.

Wake up! Christ never said one had to be a Christian to get blessed by practicing these spiritual principals. Anyone who practices the spiritual principals listed will receive the blessed promised results. . . whether you are a Christian or not.

(Some Believers are afraid of stepping out into uncharted waters as I have done. . . afraid of heresy. This is a valid concern. Even though I am a man who fears God, I do this work fearlessly. Why? Because I know that TRUTH is Jesus (I am the way, the truth and the life). As long as I stand on what is true, I am always in the center of God’s will.

Additionally, our theology is not so radical as it may at first appear.  Everyone  knows of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA).  Most are aware of their excellent track record in helping countless multitudes of people become permanently free of the sin of alcoholism (Jesus stated, “You shall know them by their fruits”)

AA is extremely successful only because they operate within God’s will. . . otherwise they would not enjoy the long term success that they do.  Upon close examination you will find that the theology of AA is different from the theology of  fundamental Christianity.  Ironically, the theology of our Living Martyr is much closer to fundamentalist Christianity than theirs is, so if you want to caste stones at us, you have to caste stones at them also!

I hope you are spiritually wiser after reading this essay. You should be! The Almighty One intends to do a 'NEW THING'. Following God's instructions I have to first smash all that is false (from all faiths), because God intends to build His new church on PURE TRUTH (Anything that permanently frees a person from the bondage of sin is Truth. Jesus is the embodiment of truth, but as I have just proven some of what He taught has been misinterpreted. It's absolutely essential that we correct all misinterpretations because a mega-massive move of the Holy Spirit is anxiously waiting to be birthed!)

First we must topple the falsehoods in all religions, starting with our own; Christianity. How can we expect other faiths to admit their falsehoods if we don’t teach by example?

Next, extract all which remains (what is true) from all faiths. Finally, place all this sacred wisdom on the table for everyone to examine and learn from. . . because all TRUTH comes from Above and attests to the glorious mercies of our Father in Heaven. The Lord wants to destroy religion as we know it.

{I was chosen by God to separate truths from dogma in religion because of the priceless things I was shown in my Judgment Day Experience.

Don’t fret that the devil took out the modern day John-the-Baptist. . . because our Lord has raised up another Prophet and has devised a totally different sacred blue-print (this one involving Christians plus other faiths), to bring forth the Second Coming of Christ! This new-way involves raising up on the global stage -  interfaith street ministers who walk the hard road, plus we are people who possess great virtue; especially having developed within ourselves the humility of a lamb and the courage of a lion. Since we voluntarily walk the hard road for God as our chosen profession we are ‘Living Martyrs’. This is the fulfillment of that Isaiah Prophecy. . . plus other end-time prophecies. Again, after you have read a couple of additional essays that pertain to this sacred project, upon your request I will unveil this new sacred blue-print for preparing the earth for the return of Christ! The best part is that you, yes you can help make it all manifest!!!!
